Suggestions for lighting on Raptor bumper?

Good morning.

After much consideration, I decided against windshield mounted KC Pro6 lights. I would like to go with KC Pro6 lights on the bumper of my Raptor and KC ditch lights.

I only have experience with windshield mounted lights. How is the offroading with bumper only lights and does anyone have pics so I can see what yall have done?

I had a single row 40” M&R light bar on my bumper (along with KC windshield set up) and removed it to install a winch. And then added ditch lights as well.

windshield mounted lights provide a better lighting experience but have a noise/wind trade off.

BD LP4 on the A pillar with SPV brackets are the way to go.

Bumper lights can affect cooling on the Braptor so I'd keep the form factor as small as possible.

I went with low profile roof lights as a result (Rigid midnight series) that have a harmonic isolator so no noise, along with Diode Dynamics ditch lights and upgraded Rigid driving lights on the stock, inboard location.

If you plan on getting a roof rack, take that into consideration as well. The low profile lights completely blend in and gives it a pretty clean look with my full rack installed. I also had planned to install a front brush guard (which I did yesterday) which also limited choices on the bumper.

Tye's setup admittedly looks bad ass. Curious if you get any spill on the windshield with the "side shooter" lights?

I also looked hard at the KC Pro6's Flex 4 for ditch lights as they included several lenses that are easy to swap out. Ended up with the Diode Dynamics SS3 Max which have similar light output and ability to swap lenses as well.

I don't have any great photos yet, really need to work on that.

Pre-ditch lights. It may be a single 40" row but they're incredibly bright. Road signs will blind you from the light reflecting off them, even at distance.

With the full rack installed, it practically looks like it's just another rail since the Midnight Series has black PCB boards.

I did not know those little additions existed! Got talked out of those particular lights due to alleged light spill on the windshield.

Ditch likely. Right now I have combo lenses but I need to get out to an open field and see what I'm missing coverage wise with my current setup. It's hard to find those in my neck of the woods without a substantial drive out of town.

I may have to look at those LP4's instead of KC. Question is, whats the light output on them, especially on the bumper. They look amber. Do they output the same as the KC Pro6?

My ProjectX work well with a winch. I run Diode dynamic SS3s pro level white with optional yellow covers ditch lights at whatever angle for fill.
