Its not an issue in my experience. Only time Ive had clearance issues width wise was doing a trail in Ocala, Fl. Jeeps were ok but I was to thicc.
As far as daily driving around, that shouldnt factor in your decision. Ive had mine for 3 years, have 45k and have never had an issue.

I found my issue. Apparently, I lost a skid plate bolt and the the other was almost off on the rear skid plate. I was able to tighten up the one bolt, but Lowes doesnt have the bolt I need to replace the other. But at least the rattling is gone.
I know its been a while but finally in a position to work on this. Did you buy the lights individually and link them? How did you mount the bumper lights?
Well found the culprit and I can’t believe I missed it. Got back under the bronco and tapping around with rubber mallet. My drive train skid plate was twanging pretty good. Noticed a bolt missing from the front and the 2 rear bolts were barely hanging on by a thread. Tightened everything up and...
Hmm, thats interesting. Ill have to take a look at that. Ive been hanging out of the bronco with doors off trying to locate it. Sometimes i feel its coming from the front, or right under me...annoying.
When i knock on skid plate, it does sound kind of twangy, but not the same quality of sounds. Only happens on bumps. I dont have anything aftermarket on this yet. About a year ago i ran over a tire on the highway going about 70, but I havent heard this noise til now. COuld it be suspension related?
Finally took my doors and top off this year. As I was driving down a somewhat bumpy road at about 25mph, I have noticed a rattling/jingling under the Bronco. I feel its under the engine, but its hard for me to pinpoint while driving. Seems to happen when it gets bumpy. My local dealership wants...
