any chance you can find the info on the B&O system as well .... I 'm curious about the Amp, its power and placement
It gets a little more complicated for the 10 speaker system with the DSP in the mix. It's located back on the sub box as seen in the attached workshop manual! Also it's a little more labor intensive to get to!

AWESOME info .... answers so many questions

got a couple more for you-

1. does the head unit have the connections for extra speakers in case we decide to add 4 more speakers or are the 6 speaker and 10 speaker head units completely different animals?

2. can you find the physical wire routing to all speakers and which cover panels to remove?

This is an educated guess on the head unit, but I would be surprised if the standard system had any of the extra connectors with the way the wiring diagrams are laid out. With the ACM splitting the audio information between itself and the DSP it's probably a completely different module!

As for the wiring it's pretty convoluted but here is a snapshot of the front and rear areas:

There are about 30 pages of these and the "map key" as it were is only accessible through our Ford site by clicking on each of the "C240A" abbreviations!

Follow up on the second part because that post was getting a little long, here are the removal steps for the other speakers, dash and kick panel, sub one is the same as the DSP from the earlier post.

NICE to have such access .... you will be well informed when you get yours.

Hey off topic, I want to install a touchscreen center mirror to improve the rearview while driving. As is, the rear view is partial at best, and when I go on a trip the back will be filled to the tilt.

Instead of mounting a separate camera somewhere in the back I'm looking for a way to tap into the existing camera in the center of the spare tire so that it comes on when the vehicle is started, not just when backing up.
So in essence the existing camera will pull double duty, used for reversing on the infotainment system and always on for rear viewing.

can you find the wiring diagram to that?

very cool .... what is that large white box on the left of the subwoofer? its fuzzy but it look like bunch of wires going into it?
1. could that be the Amp?
2. is that a 8 or 10 inch subwoofer?
Yes that is the amp. Not sure on exact size but I would guess 8 at most.

It's probably a long shot with how the camera system is set up, I know there are some companies that make add in harnesses with a standard video out for aftermarket head units, but it will probably be a while before something like that is on the market for Bronco.

OMG .... you da MAN (y) :D .... I don't want to veer this thread off topic so I will stop here, but it looks like that rear camera is already pulling double duty .... its used for reversing AND the video stitching of the 360 view! so tapping into it must be possible!

Anyone considering products such as the Kicker Hideaway subs? Do we think they’ll fit under the seats, or is there another obvious location? The wife has already declared I’m not permitted to take up cargo space with a box!
