I'm late to the party, looks like we get lined up and bent over, $60K for a Badlands with all the goodies I want.

Ford is doing a great job on finding ways to thin out the reservations, just raise the prices they say. At this rate, in about three years, Ford is going to have to put $5K on the hood in rebates to move these things.

Seems like I’m one of the few not upset today. I’m planning on a BL 2.3 MT7 33” tire with mid and tow. I was in the basemansquatch until that moved to MY22. I might still be a MY22 because of my reservation date and that’s ok but my Escape is rusting away and I’m not banking on things happening sooner. I know this has not been the smoothest roll out but then, this hasn’t really been the smoothest year. I certainly can’t explain 2 months to fix it but I think many of us figured it was going to happen at some point. Hate to see people leave as it’s been fun dealing with this along side everyone but I get it. I was planning on getting a Wrangler Rubicon until the Bronco was revealed. Now I’m in for the long haul. (I hope)

Am I wrong, but outside Sway Bar, doesn't this make the WT more desirable than BL
WT interior is AIDs. I'm getting a BD that costs more to avoid that ugly shit.

AT is "standard" with the 2.7 because they aren't offering the manual with the 2.7. "Standard" in this context does not mean included with the price they are charging for the 2.7, but more at "required". $1,895 is the price to get the V6, regardless of model. $1,595 is the price to get the 10-speed auto. If you get the 2.7, you also have to get the 10-speed. Usually, Ford pops up a notice when you select an option that requires other options, showing the total price and allowing you to choose to keep or decline that option.
Exactly the same as the Jeep B&P I ran today. I thought it was odd the way Ford laid out the pricing and assumed something was off because the options and steps just didn’t make sense. I don’t like it, but people act like this is personal and intentional. No one has to pay anything that isn’t refundable (unless their dealer is requesting something additional) and no one has to do anything once the order banks are in and their dealer puts it into the system. Ford should have just delayed everything until January and rolled it out in a more consistent and complete fashion. They screwed up and deserve to be called out, but this forum is just too much. If you are that upset, cancel, totally get it. On that note, I will just keep quiet now ?

My current BL build is 54,350. An identical WT build is 54,380. The only difference is the WT has different suspension (better?), sas pkg and cloth seats. Same add-ons (front bumper, top, engine, interior options, axle). All for the same money. Something isn't right here on Ford's part.

It's really all just lousy communication. IF they would tell us what they could tell us instead of leaving everything out there for speculation, it would help. FUBAR and I wasn't in the military....it's a big Dilbert cartoon, all the engineers in a meeting looking at the marketing guys, asking, "You told them what???"

Looking forward to reading all 52 pages of this tonight after work. Am amused that many people have called out the pricing irregularities in the early B&P over the past couple months but were routinely shot down by people that really wanted to believe in Santa Clause.

as for me, I just want to know when prices are final so I can make a rational choice here. Actually charging for an AT doesn’t seem outrageous to me though...
I skimmed about 10 pages and it was mostly a waste of time. Perhaps, some of those affected should switch to Outer Banks. Pricing didn't change and tops are now listed.

Yeah, ran BL #'s against my BD build, and it seemed to move further away....makes no sense.

That might be the case if that $900 TV was $600. I don't know of Ford saying the transmission upgrade was going to be free, but then again, I personally didn't ask because I already knew (from prior shopping experience) that the exact same transmission was $1,595 on other Ford products. Also, given how Outer Banks was priced, ($1,895 for the V6 engine), it was pretty obvious something wasn't right. Who thinks that makes sense that the V6 engine gets a free transmission upgrade? The pricing wasn't consistent and when looking at how the auto was priced elsewhere, including when upgrading from manual to auto without the V6, it was clear that the auto was going to cost $1,595. There were those that understood and prepared for that and there were those that refused to listen to the rationale two months ago and are now unsurprisingly upset by their own making.

Yes, Ford could have made this much better by fixing the B&P errors, much, much, much sooner. They suck for that, but not for charging the same amount for the 10-speed regardless of how you buy it.
That's my point. When asked about the issue, we were told by a Ford exec that the pricing was correct and it was just a good deal.

Half? Probably at least 80%, outside of the forum? Probably 90 or 95. People just don’t buy manuals.
Except us old farts where that’s all we know how to drive. :)

Yes. No doubt about COVID. I had it myself and I'm in International business, which is also impacted. I merely meant to say that most of my issues and concerns have not been COVID related, but planning, communication, etc. Should have been more clear. Best to you!!
Glad you don't have any lingering ailments or limitations (that you mentioned). Our admin's father was one of the first deaths from the assisted care facility in Kirkland, WA, which didn't get reported for about 48 hours as covid. She had been pretty sick the few days prior. We've been locked down as if we were ground zero. No doubt we've missed client deadlines, other deadlines changed, staff was at home, or the office, or neither, or both.... Lots of decisions made in real-time those first few weeks which we're still feeling the impact from in unforeseen ways 10.5 months later.

So I give Ford MASSIVE leeway in bringing Bronco to market. Can only imagine the thousands of different difficulties that have come up company wide, from suppliers, between teams, government regulations, city/state regs, etc.

I do admit, there were a few dropped balls along the way. But I suppose it's just like what they always say. Like a midget at a urinal, we'll have to stay on our toes.

I am a Browns' season ticket holder. If they would have a home playoff game in a full stadium, my tickets on the secondary market would have paid for this AT charge.
At first, I thought the level of despair in this thread couldn’t get any worse, and then a Browns season ticket holder showed up. :ROFLMAO:
