I’m trying some different mounting options on the JD Marz Accessory Mount. It’s a great design. So far I am using one of the single side mounts, but I think I’m going to mount the full mount (my early build is missing the M8 rivnuts in the roll bar).
Here is a link to JD Marz site and the...
Almost all the water/alternator issues are from getting stuck with the alternator submerged. Drummond Island has lots of water and now we have had hundreds of Broncos through with maybe 1 issue? The other time I have seen failures is high speed runs through deeper water.
Several members are heading to Rocks and Valleys off-road park 10AM Saturday, Aug. 23rd. Bring a flag, $30 for your vehicle and $10 for each passenger, along with some food and drink. If you have not been it's a great park!
The annual MIBC Fall Drummond Island trip is up on us September 12-13.. There are group rides Friday and Saturday and a bonfire Saturday night.
Here are the sign up links for the rides-...
We have quite a few members in the UP. This forum was really the start of the club, but it migrated (not by choice) to Facebook. We do have a club forum, it’s night high traffic, but there are some regular visitors and some content as well. https://forums.michiganbroncos.club/ We are doing our...
@EmCon There is snow ride in Grayling Feb 8th, not sure if you joined the Facebook page. Unfortunately, Gladwin is the closest actual trails and Holly Oaks is the closest off road park to SE MI, so you will need to travel a bit :)
I did not. That was not the failure point, but it revealed the relatively light capacity of the frame ands paired with the high leverage the RC high winch mount. I love the approach angle and how tight the mount is to the bumper, so I made the effort to reinforce the whole setup. The new winch...
Here is a post some might find interesting, installed a frame reinforcement kit.

I am installing the kit now and it seems the fit issues with the brackets are not a problem for me. I am stumped on removing the intercooler bolts, I have them completely backed out, but they are hard against the radiator or whatever is direclty above the bolts. Is there something I am missing...
I think a lot of us are in a similar situation deciding between these two options. I have been in and ridden with several Broncos with both setup ups. I would say the descriptions and reviews are spot on. The Eibachs do have a bit more travel and the Bilstein have a leg up on handling and higher...
I like that compressor and air fitting. I will probably do a similar mod on mine, once I test my 4 tire set up. I'm sure the less expensive compressors will not have the same service life as the ARB, but since I am not using air lockers, suspension or air tools (20V impact works great) I am...
I have had both the KO2s and GY Territory MT. The GY are a better off road tire in many situations. As a prior poster mentioned, they are very light for a 315/70/17. I have seen a couple sidewalls cut where the KO2s seemed very tough in comparison. The other issue with the GY, they wear pretty...
