The Base Package is already included in the price of the car. All standard items are included in the Base price. So when it states Auto is standard with Mid Package...it means included.Everything in the base package is standard, still gotta pay for it.
That people are impatient, spoiled, and needy. We've all become slaves to Amazon, 5g and want what we want yesterday. My advice? Chill, stop following these forums, and wait until your dealer contacts you to place an order. Then do it or don't.What have we learned after 49 pages?
I'm not saying it wasn't stupid. I'm just saying it was pretty obvious it wasn't correct. As someone who has shopped and owned other Ford vehicles, I tried to explain this. I also recommended that people getting the 2.7 in BL plan to add $1,595 to their build cost. If I was wrong, they'd be happy the actual cost was lower. But I've never seen a "buy an engine upgrade, get a transmission for free" in any vehicle. Neither have I seen an engine upgrade and transmission combo go for that low. But the real obvious point was that Ford sells that 10-speed auto upgrade for $1,595 on other models, so why would the same transmission upgrade be free on a Bronco? Please explain the delay in initial build and price and then almost 2 months later to correct this error. I would think that should have been fixed before the initial release.
Sound advice, but i like to plan ahead unfortunatly we all are with tied hands till order day. That people are impatient, spoiled, and needy. My build Big Bend does not show that note "Available late 2021"Bottom left.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think I moved up the line a bit that and dropping mid keeps my build price the same .What have we learned after 49 pages?
I guess I’m getting my “panties in a wad” because it took Ford 2 months to issue a fix for supposedly preliminary pricing. I noticed this now “preliminary pricing error” first day along with many others. Until today, I hadn’t seen any qualifiers about preliminary pricing, yet here we are.I do, because managing the production of an automobile under the environment of a global pandemic has more priority than fixing a draft B&P function for the vehicle that's not yet available for retail sale. Ford said it was a draft B&P for the Bronco and said an official update will be issued in January to coincide with ordering.
I wasn't using a diversion tactic, I'm trying to get you to manage your expectations. You can't yet place an order for your Bronco, so why are you so upset that the B&P isn't correct, or has changed from an earlier draft? Just fucking relax and let it play out. Ford can adjust its pricing at anytime it wants. The only time the sales price is locked is when you have an artifact with your signature and the dealer's representative signature. So until that time comes, getting one's panties in a wad over the pricing in the B&P tool is wasted energy.
This is like popping balloons or bubble wrap. The point is not to learn, it is to vent. For that, this thread was very helpful. What have we learned after 49 pages?
You mean like this 2020 F150 that includes a 10 speed auto for $995?I'm not saying it wasn't stupid. I'm just saying it was pretty obvious it wasn't correct. You see a row of TV's, all priced in the hundreds and thousands, and there's one for $9, you know it ain't right. Even if the price says $9 for two months.
AT is "standard" with the 2.7 because they aren't offering the manual with the 2.7. "Standard" in this context does not mean included with the price they are charging for the 2.7, but more at "required". $1,895 is the price to get the V6, regardless of model. $1,595 is the price to get the 10-speed auto. If you get the 2.7, you also have to get the 10-speed. Usually, Ford pops up a notice when you select an option that requires other options, showing the total price and allowing you to choose to keep or decline that option.I don't know why they continue to make changes online.
They could do all these changes offline. When everything is good and ready, then publish the final version online.
The A/T is still stated as "standard" with the 2.7L V6, and as "available" with the 2.3L.
The V6 is listed as $1895. Yet when you select the V6 option, instead of charging $1895 it is now charging $3490. If Ford intend to now charge the Auto as a separate item, why list the Auto as "standard" with the V6? I'm a patient person, this is testing me.
Any hot takes on the 4DR Base price going from $33200 to $34795? Guess that one had a $9.00 tag too...I'm not saying it wasn't stupid. I'm just saying it was pretty obvious it wasn't correct. Yep. Unfortunately, I've reached my limit with all of this. It's an awesome ride, but they weren't anywhere near ready to launch this bad boy. It's really a shame and inexcusable that they were surprised by the demand and caught flat footed while bringing back a legendary product. I know there will be many who continue springing to defend Ford with the usual lines (e.g. "They're listening," "Kudos to Ford for getting it right," "COVID COVID COVID, etc." The reality is that it's a joke of a "launch" and they've demonstrated that repeatedly (Stay tuned more to come. LOL).It has become abundantly clear that Ford doesn't give a rats ass about building loyalty or trust with their customers. They've had SO many opportunities to try to redeem themselves from the shit show called the Bronco launch, and they continue to disappoint, and further piss people off.
