Front middle parking sensors randomly beeping at me after relocating despite no obstructions

Hey all, me again. About a year and a half ago, I installed the Steelcraft HD brush guard. I have a 2022 Wildtrak 4dr with lux and all the gadgets including adaptive cruise control. I got the sensor relocation kit, which includes brackets and extension wires for only the middle-two parking sensors since the brush guard mounts to the frame mounts where the bumper bolts onto (I have the standard bumpoer with fog lights).
In the past couple months though, the front sensors are now just starting to get schizophrenic on me. They'll beep full-blast at nothing at all, and when I disable them in the settings (turning off the switch under driver assistance features that says parking sensors: front (always)) they end up just enabling themselves again on my next drive despite the switch in settings still showing that they're disabled.
I can see that the sensors are not obstructed by anything and they're still perfectly centered in the brackets. No debris on them and no pattern of whether it happens in dry or wet, hot or cold... Just totally random.
Any ideas folks? My girlfriend is gonna kill me soon if I don't figure out the beeping issue LOL.

Do they need to be recalibrated in the car computer, like they did in the Autobody shop after they replaced my front bumper? With FORScan or the Ford dealer program?

I don't believe there's any calibration procedure for the parking sensors. If there is, I can't find one online anywhere.

I'm having the same issue with random beeping after installing a winch plate and relocating the center two sensors. Usually beeping at nothing.

Adding photos of my sensors for reference... They're pretty far away from the lip of the brush guard, and there's zero play in either of them or the brackets. And I don't have any issues with adaptive cruise, so I think we could rule the radar module out as well.

I don't have the same situation, but when I switched to the SFR bumpers, they were randomly go off at nothing (sometimes while driving but mostly when reversing). SFR uses rubber grommets to install them and some of them had backed out some, one almost falling out.

So a couple times I pushed them back out, had them stick out just a touch, and it stopped soon after. I don't have any issue now.

But it is funny, my sister had to drive it briefly while this was happening and she interpreted it like bombs being dropped. She totally hated them going off, really nerve racking for her. So yeah, I get that part... lol

No calibration for the parking aid sensors other than an azimuth and elevation system check, but it just verifies the sensors are working correctly, doesn't calibrate anything.

That's really unfortunate that it's a TSB, because that means my dealer is gonna charge me a diag fee plus the entirety of my extended warranty's deductible :/ that's what they tried to do to me when I took it in to have the wiper TSB done. I decided to just leave the wipers as-is when they gave me the $270 estimate ($100 deductible for ford premcare, $170 mandatory diag fee). Ugh

Both Wareham Ford and Empire Ford in New Bedford told me the same thing and gave me the same estimate. Two different franchises, too, so I assumed it was just what dealers do. It sucks because I put in the extra effort to be extra kind and patient when I'm there, since I've been in customer service before and I get that it's not the service manager's fault for Ford's policies, ya know? Anyway, if that's not supposed to be the case, let me know... I'll gladly have a sterner word with one of the dealers around here lol.

Where were they before? I think mine were closer to the center? Maybe it's your placement?

By "closer to the center" do you mean centered in the holes (they are perfectly centered within ±.01" according to my calipers) or closer to the centerline of the vehicle? Because these brackets don't have any adjustability - they are where they are, basically. They were originally pretty much in the same spot just behind where they are now, which is now occupied by the mounting brackets for the brush guard. Had to cut up the covers that they mounted to per the brush guard's installation instructions.

I mean, I guess; I had an issue with my pickup where the local shop faked fixing it because I brought my own part and were too chicken shit to tell me they wanted to charge a diagnostic fee. So they gave it back saying it was fixed but it wasn't, then they wanted a diagnostic fee to "see what was going on". And the fix was putting the part on (which I already knew, it was a thermostat). I dunno, I would think asking them to apply a TSB wouldn't require a diagnostic effort, but maybe I'm a rube on such things.

They charge diag up front in case the ESP doesn't cover the specific repair.
Standard practice for any dealership.

Give me you VIN and mileage and I can check to see if it's covered.

If it is covered, they should remove any diag fee and you should only be charged your deductible.
