Update: Noise has returned. Ford rebuilt my transmission (new synchros) under warranty almost 2 years ago. I thought the noise was gone, but today the noise returned (over 10k miles later). I'm literally 4 days past my 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, and I have little hope that they will (or can) even fix it. I do have a 10 year powertrain warranty, so I guess if it blows up maybe I'll be covered then.

I'm no service tech but I think you'll be fine, as long as you can get past the annoyance of the noise. Look at it as a battle scar, wear it proudly.

Recently picked up my Bronco from getting its 3rd transmission installed. It now has MB3R 7003 AD. Shifts much better and is super quiet so far. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time around. I'll keep you guys posted.

Also, something to note is the tech said that the old assembly had copper flakes from a failed synchro.

Parts have been updated at least once, maybe twice in the last 2 years. Bring it in and have them do it again.

In my experience, I've taken mine to 3 different dealerships and they all want no part of it. They dismiss it as normal and acceptable.

Hard to claim normal and acceptable if you show them the TSB.
If they still claim that, contact Ford directly 🤷‍♂️

I guess I’ll share my experience.
Two months ago I decided to finally let Ford take a shot at fixing. Researched a few
Dealers, found a good one and dropped it off.

Parts came quick and they were on pace to have it turned around in less than a week.

Got a call, the tech damaged a bearing during reassembly and the part was on backorder.

So they gave me full size 4 door as a loaner. 7 weeks later they call and say no progress on the part and that Ford Canada has approved a new transmission assembly. 3 days later had my Bronco back.

So far so good.

I wouldn't call any of this good but I guess anyone has their perspective. 😂

Just got my 2025 back after 3rd gear synchro went out ~11k miles, took almost a month. They attempted a rebuild but parts were back ordered. Also found other issues as they went deeper. Ended up with a new tranny and with all the issues they found, feeling much better about that.

I'm at 7 weeks now since I dropped mine off for this concern and a few others. I got the new window runs for the rattle TSB, and now waiting on "backed up" transmission techs. They intend to replace synchros only at this time.
Put about 2000 miles on two loaners and three contracts so far, which represents a large chunk of my remaining bumper-to-bumper, but all this time in a 4D/auto/street tires setup is killing me!

Don't give up hope guys. The latest TSB fixed my issues. I had to babysit the service dept and return it after the service for them to fix their dangling fuel lines and missing bolts, but it was worth it. Just took it in for the transaxle/tranny seal check recall and it passed with flying colors. I'm at 23,000 with no noises and shifts great.

Glad you're issues are resolved. I had my 7mt replaced at 37k miles. Now have 67k on my second one, but am hearing the scraping/sloppiness once in awhile. I will bring it in before my extended warranty runs out. What is the latest TSB please? Thanks.

Downright confusing update today - they pulled mine into the shop after sitting for weeks, it was in there for a few hours before pulling back out.
They say they had to replace the throwout bearing. I've never had any issues with it nor am I sitting around holding the clutch. Anyone else get one while they were in for the synchro TSB?
