Turned out to be a sticking parking brake actuator. They replaced it and said they saw zero damage from the overheating message that popped up. Not going to lie, it was kinda' creepy that they could see every alarm that ever came up in my Bronco's computer right when I was first talking to...
Hey guys, just posting an update to my tranny fix. I'm at 13k miles and everything has been a-ok! It was a rough battle working with the dealership (holding them accountable), but not as rough as some so I'm grateful. Hope it goes well for you all as well.
Just called in for my diagnostic appointment on this. Received the dreaded Parking Brake error three or four times in the last month. (2023 BL SAS, Manual Tranny) Unfortunately the "final draw" with us was the P-brake kicking on while making a 45 mile freeway journey and missing the alarm (or...
Had the TSB performed. Tranny tech was seriously backlogged and because of poor communication between the tech shop and my service rep, my Bronco was sitting in their parking lot for almost two months. (I highly recommend to confirm when the tech will actually start removing bolts before...
Well, finally tossed the dice and took my 23 BL @ 7000 miles in for the grinding a couple weeks ago. It had the "Sasquatch grumble" at 13 miles (day one). Tech called it instantly, the noise was that loud. Rep said they'd be tagging the service to the "new" 24-2042 TSB. I'm already looking...
Sounds like some people are getting answers and a few with good results. That's great!
Update on my 4DR-BLsas:
Started hearing the noise at ~50 miles. Noise is getting louder and it doesn't have to be cold anymore. Every morning now at 50-60deg I hear it for the first few miles if going...
Hi Cape. I did confirm that yes, when I gently move the shift stick down into the 6th position without pressing the clutch in, the grinding does go away. I have every indicator that my new Bronco has the same problem as most of the others on the spreadsheet. Thanks.
Joining the group that have problems. I’ll add my info to the spreadsheet soon. I have a 2023 4 dr Badlands Sas MTtan. Noticed the noise before 250miles. Now at almost 300 miles and it’s super loud at warmup.

Looks like the problem still...
(y)(y)(y)CONFIRMED with email from Nick. I'm 2 hours from Damerow and live in WA state.
$1000 below invoice. Only Doc fee for WA residents is $150. No priv. tax for us. We'll pay our county/state taxes at the DOL. NO OTHER FEES. I'll be switching to Damerow. Thanks to everyone who shared...
As far as what county/state you end up buying your Bronco in, it won't matter. You'll pay for WA city/state tax IN THE COUNTY YOU LIVE IN when you get tabs. All the taxes you paid in OR will be credited towards your city/state taxes in your county.
If anyone is told anything different, please...
Hey guys, I was told by my WA state DMV office that all the taxes you pay in OR (city, privilage, use, whatever) can be credited over to your final tax costs in WA......as long as they all show up on the paperwork! That's the key.
As far as what county/state you end up buying your Bronco in, it...
Hey guys. Calling is always a sure shot. Duck, Colbert and I have all spoken with them several times. Just got off the phone with Nick now. They’re still offering $1000 below invoice, but to a smaller area than we (6G members) all hoped for. They’re being wise about cutting down their service...
Colbert I’m confused? 1 star on Yelp is bad. It sounds like you want to give Damerow a good rating which would be 5 stars on Yelp. Is that right?
So far, Damerow has been professional, open and honest.
Duck spoke about that with Kiyoshi. Duck suggested for us to call Damerow up. There's still a lot of moving parts and as each dealership builds their list of orders they believe things might shift a bit for Ford to be able to handle this kind of volume.
Its bittersweet to have a mass exodus to...
Thanks Duck. A lot of good stuff to note:
Spoke with Nick this morning for about 30-40 minutes. VERY knowledgeable guy and very pro! Was grateful for his time! :-)
He definitely knows the X-plan logistics and is familiar with offering invoice deals for new purchases. He said they also kick...
