Hello. Bronco base 2 door 2.3L and considering upgrade of stock suspension to the Eibach stage 2 coilover system. My base bronco is fairly light. Anyone with a similar type base bronco install this kit? I don't want to go too high, and it appears minimum rear lift is about 2.4". I wanted to find out actual measurements from those who have installed this kit. Thanks!

Pro-Truck 2.0 coilovers set at something approaching minimum rear lift, on a 2.3L Badlands (33" tires):

Minimum lift is still a fair bit. Tire height will affect overall height - with smaller tires you will be lower but may get some "skipped leg day" effect. Depending on your personal mobility (and height) it may leave you wanting steps.

My preload is dialed up a bit to accomodate the winch, minimum height on fronts is much lower so any amount of rake you choose is possible.

I really like the ride of the Eibachs but some forum users have been having quality issues lately.

Thanks for the reply! So my base is currently running 34" tires so about 4" larger diameter than stock. Gained about 2" ground clearance. Don't really want to go more than 1-2" of additional lift on top of the tires. May need to go to the Stage 1 kit where I can get a lower lift but of course not as easily adjustable and I have to put it together.

The lift on the Protrucks for a Non-SAS is pretty significant. On the out of the box setting I got about 3" of lift over stock. Cranked them down a bit and I'm about 2.5" over factory. The Bronco looked ridiculous lifted 3" on my factory 33" general grabbers so wound up going to a 35" MT Baja boss. Very happy with the setup. Ride is great but I have seen some others complain of shock failures. Fingers crossed but so far so good.

What 34" tires are you using? Which UCA?

I installed it on my Badlands with the light duty rear springs and I have them set to approximately 1 inch higher than my other two door which is a Badlands with Sasquatch. The ride is great.

Looks good. Was this with the Eibach Stage 1 or 2 kit? Thanks.

Yes that is the problem I'm facing on my 2door base. Apparently it's the lightest model so even the min height using Stage 2 lift from Eibach is about 2.5" at the rear. Didn't really want to go that high though. Glad to hear positive review of the ride quality.

2.0. Originally I was gonna have it the same height as my badlands with the sas, but it was a little rough at that height, so I ended up raising it up about an inch all the way around and it rode much softer. I like the soft ride.

Th
LT285/75/17 Terra Grappler G3 tires (load C) with stock UCA at this point.
That's exactly what I'm contemplating on my 4dr. It's been hard to find coilovers for a 1" lift and a better ride. I want 2.5" coilovers.
