More information is needed, spend about $51k on the Obx and you can get your heated seats, painted trim and mini-van tires.... where an extra $1k gets you a Base Sasquatch with better axles front and rear, beefed up steering rack, better shocks with lift, 35" tires (and gearing), front locker, etc. I'm differently going to spend money on better mechanical components, but for the pavement Princesses you can't go wrong with any of them.

Ouch!!! Pavement Princess! I deserved that!!! One must have is very tight handling (spirited) on tarmac; the only niceties are powered seats and dual zone Heat/AC.

Only Moar Door leather seats are powered. So you can forget about the Black Diamond, Big Bend, or Base models.

You might find a 60th Anniv. Edition if you want something unique. Otherwise, your entry point is an OBX. Might as well get the Sasquatch package though it is overkill for your needs. I don't think the OBX can be ordered with the standalone rear locker (minimum requirement) anymore. If you find a a used OBX from MY'23 or earlier, then they could be ordered with just the rear locker and 4A transfer case.

So you want a mall crawler. Don’t spend the money if it ain’t going off road. Big bend. That way you can have some of the look at some of the cost.

So it looks like the Black Diamond package on the Big Bend gets the locking Rear Axle...might be the way to go

If you can live without power seats, then yes. The Black Diamond package on the Big Bend is the cheapest option.

my recommendation is a non Sasquatch outer banks with lux and leather power seats…best on road + most creature features…no need for Sasquatch or even rear locker for forest service/overlanding…party on!

I've never needed a rear locker for off road, probably because none of the trucks I drove had a rear locker. One would have been handy in snow a couple of times. They can be good for mud too.

I am very happy with my $26K Base.

Whatever you decide on, be sure to buy it at Granger, the most honest and ethical dealership in America.

Best value ever, and no ones ever needed power seats, or an auto dimming mirror, let alone painted mirrors, for fire roads or overlanding.

If it's a Bronco you want, then you probably won't be disappointed with any model, particularly if it will be predominantly on the road. But razor sharp handing is NOT something you will be getting. Don't expect European refinement/quiet/luxury and sports car handling from any Bronco. It's a rugged, capable truck with removable doors and roof.

Bronco is awesome at being what it is, just make sure that is what you want.
