More to the story... Took it to a dealer, and they couldn't find anything wrong. They said the tech said it was blowing at 35 degrees. Must have been Celsius, as it doesn't get anywhere near that cold in Fahrenheit! I checked it with a very accurate chef thermometer in my vents, with the air set on 67 degrees, and my thermometer shows 92 degrees! When I set it to Lo, it blew 59 degrees. Seems to be a massive difference in actual temp for just 7 degree change on ac dial. Guess I'll try another dealer

Not saying there isn’t something wrong here, but there’s a lot more that goes into the A/C operation than just the temperature dial.

Ambient and interior temperatures/humidity play a huge part in how the HVAC operates and what the outlet temperature will be.

A/C should be checked when using max A/C,
Ideally around 70 degrees ambient with regular humidity after running for about 5 minutes.

Depending on other factors, 67 degrees on the dial may blow warmer air than you’d expect it to, but it’s all calculated by the HVAC module based off numerous inputs/data.

I thought about that, but also thought for sure it would blow colder than it does. My wife's Hyundai Palisade feels like the Artic when on 70. The temp outside was 46 degrees, and humidity around 80%.

Probably will just wait till mid-summer and see what it does

Yeah Ford’s are a bit different than most other manufacturers. With an ambient temp that low, 67 would blow warm air because it’s well above ambient.

That doesn’t make any sense. The compressor won’t operate unless the ambient temperature is over 35-36 degrees.
Even if it was above that in winter, running it doesn’t magically make it continue to work like it’s supposed to. It should just do that whenever you need it.

Off-topic, but nice bike. I have a 2001 MV Agusta F4 (bought it new 25 years ago!)

Thanks, and same! I got to ride an F4 one time and it was a lot of fun, I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for those!

I run max cold on manual in freezing weather and puts out. I also do it in my heated parking.
