And yet...almost a 20x return on the budget.

It wasn't written to be a masterpiece. It was capitalizing on Hamil AND the viewers who liked good car chases even though they weren't realistic. Remember that this was ALSO not far behind the success of Smokey and The Bandit.

I bought one of their tire mounted basket thingies. Never again. Their products are designed to be shipped, not used. I won't waste my time with them anymore.

It's a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder with a single turbo, big radiator with 2 big cooling fans and massive amounts of space around it for air flow and heat dissipation.
In the Midwest I would only see over 210F oil temp at 90MPH hwy speeds or over 90F ambient temps while off-roading.
The V6 might be a little more heat intensive, but... I would still question for anything like this.
Looks yes... Functionality- pointless.
