Since getting 0 offset wheels my spare has been shaking pretty good on our rough roads, haven’t been on any trails yet since the weather sucks. Decided to get the Turn Offroad adjustable tire carrier to see if it would make a difference without getting their HD tire carrier. Super easy install, it is way beefy compared to the plastic OEM junk. It is really nice that it is adjustable, was able to suck the tire into the gate and utilize the stock rubber bumpers. Also moved the brake light up so it‘s not obscured by the tire. After a few days driving I am happy to report this setup seems to be very solid, all the shakes are gone. Once I start hitting trails when it warms up I will see if I need to get their HD tire carrier setup.

I mean... $2 in tennis balls, $25 in a replacement bumper, or $250 in upgrading to a steel carrier.

I think you chose well. I've had mine on for a couple years now - holding up great.

Ya I haven’t always chosen the cheapest option, but this definitely solved the problem I was having. Glad to hear yours is working out well. If I can avoid having to add the HD setup this will have been a good investment.
