I recommend going to Tire Rack - putting your spec in and select "Goodyear" for the brand to drill it down to just Goodyear tires then read the reviews of both tires....good source of info for your research.

The only thing I do not like about Goodyears is that the traction sipes on their tires only go half way through the tread blocks so that when the tire is 50% worn, your wet weather traction is reduced.

My 2023 Sasquatch came with Goodyear territory Mt tires and now at 25K miles they are worn out and I need a replacement tire,
Has anyone experienced the RT territory as a replacement as far a noise/wear comparison. Dealer is quoting 4 new RT's @ $1122.00
So...if you only got 25,000 miles out of these shitty tires, why buy the same brand? I hate these tires and can't wait to upgrade something different.

I just replaced my original Goodyear MT tires on my 2023 Bronco Sasquatch with the new BFGoodrich KO3. Substantial improvement in road noise and ride quality, highly recommend them. They’re not cheap !!! I put on the true 35 inch K03 and I believe they were a little over $400 apiece at discount tire.

I went with Falken Wildpeak R/T01s now, have about 15,000 miles on them. Certainly more durable. I paired them with Method 703s to mostly counter the gain in weight. However, I DO get after it pretty hard from time to time so I like the extra ruggedness. Not sure if I'll stick it out or go back to a lighter A/T next go around, thats year away at this point.

I love Falkens. They will be my next tire again when it's time.

I have the R/T's. They have been fine for street driving and wheeling in dry conditions and some wet, lightly snow covered high desert trails. That said I will not replace with the same when the time comes.

Why limit yourself to the OEM tires? There are many great options available depending what your actual use and needs are.

Also agree that 25k is pretty short lived for that tire. But we don't know you're driving habits, setup or maintenance habits.

25K does seem like a pretty short life for the GYs. I'm a very tame driver and I bought used with 12K miles on the clock, but I'm at 27K miles and only half way through the wear life of the OEM GY MTs. Just saying, you might want to consider why that is in your next tire. Maybe you are super aggressive driver, maybe running really heavy, incorrect pressure, or possibly way out of alignment. There may be a better tire or maybe fix for the limited wear life.

My 2 cents...the GYs for me have been a pretty decent tire. They've done well in everything (wet/dry pavement, sand, dirt, gravel, snow, loose river rock, etc) EXCEPT ice/compact snow and super snotty mud. They seem a bit noisy for what they are and might be getting louder with wear, but they aren't horrible. I've only had one flat and that was a sheet metal screw puncture. I can't fault the tire for that, but they are incredibly light weight for an off road AT tire. The only way to make an incredibly light 35" AT tire from rubber, nylon/poly, and steel is to use less rubber, nylon/poly, and/or steel....which is going to compromise the tires ruggedness. No two ways about that...even with top notch construction. That is not a big deal for the truck that is on the road 99.99% of the time, AND it is a HUGE plus for on road performance. Now the truck that is off road 10% of the time....it may be a big deal. It doesn't take too many flats or stucks in unfortunate situations during even limited off road miles to develop a deep, seething disdain for a tire! :) I do worry about the GY MTs navigating stumps, sharp/large rocks and very muddy situations. But be realistic in your use/needs and pick the best tire for you.

Solid analysis. When I pulled mine at 45,000 they still had at least another 5K left on them. Puncture city though, I think every single one had at least one plug, and two of them had two. I had a puncture of my first off-road adventure up Maple Springs with it. It was just a gravel road. Over time as I did harder and harder trails, I knew I wanted something more durable and was willing to give up some on-road performance for it. I probably went too far, but I'm gonna ride it out.

It hard to say what is going "too far". You only need to get stranded out in the deep, dark, cold, woods or desert being hungry and alone ONCE to justify a hella stout tire that cost a fortune. And if you are running a hella stout tire out of the gate, who's to say how many times you've avoided that very thing. You just might have to do some other mods and carry some extra fuel cans, too. :)

what do you mean by worn? If you're talking tread depth, that's a different story. Offroad - I've been pretty happy with the traction I've seen, only issue, which is a big one, is they are indeed light. I've ripped off plenty of lugs, and have several sidewall gouges that Im preparing to rupture.

No way mine will see a mileage that the tread is worn down. They won't make it that long.

Had the MT on my 2022 SAS

Have the RT on my 2025 heritage

The MT are by far the best tire period for Snow. Hard packed and ice (even better then blizzaks or nokien) They suck everywhere else

RT performs like a mid tier all terrain in all areas. Nothing impressive. Nothing awful.

Both tires are very lightweight for their size (Good on the road). If you’re doing more serious off-roading I’d look elsewhere.

RT's have chipped the crap out of the rocker panels, even with front mud flaps. Wish I got PPF for the rocker panels when I first bought it. Otherwise fine tires, had it down to 15 PSI in Baja, full loaded, no issues or abnormal off road wear.

Bronco Off Rodeo in LV mentioned that their regular Bronco's (Sasquatch/Badlands/Wildpeak with MT's) have the tires changed at twice the interval compared to their fleet of Raptors (KO2's).

Do their raptors get driven an equal amount of miles as their regulars? While I am certain the KO2 is a longer lasting tire, the nuance may be important.
