  1. Territory MT vs territory RT replacement tires

Had the MT on my 2022 SAS Have the RT on my 2025 heritage The MT are by far the best tire period for Snow. Hard packed and ice (even better then blizzaks or nokien) They suck everywhere else RT performs like a mid tier all terrain in all areas. Nothing impressive. Nothing awful. Both...
  2. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Engine bogs at 10-12 mph in 4th. To 500-600 ish rpm. If you push the clutch in quick it pops back up to idle rpm. Like a normal manual. At this point, yes if you push clutch in and wait a few seconds the engine will cycle off then back on. Then you’re good. If your in a high stress driving...
  3. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

[ OP, or anyone else, what happens when you clutch in while throttle isn’t responding and don’t put it in gear? Does it idle, or die and wait for the auto restart? if you push the clutch in and wait a few seconds the engine dies, and the ecu auto restarts. think this is where the glitch in...
  4. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Easy. Try shifting into 4th and let clutch out at about 10-12 mph. Engine bogs. Then immediately shift to 2nd to try and recover the missed shift to 4th.
  5. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Only open recall I have is the instrument cluster. Yes. If you stall it from a stop. It will auto restart. The auto rev from a stop is a bit annoying. Those are things you can get used to. I do really love the Bronco (why I got a new 2025 from a 2022). Trip to dealer tomorrow.
  6. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Soo… trying it again today. Once it goes into this zero throttle mode. If you push the clutch in and wait several seconds. Ecu basically stalls the engine. Restarts it. Then everything’s fine. You can’t recover it by going into the proper gear and trying to go….
  7. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Negative. No wheel slip. No dry pavement to test on. Give me 3 months for that šŸ˜‚
  8. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

1st vid (23 sec) is the one with ass off, with eliminator (simple device that goes behind the switch)
  9. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Engine is combusting fine and sounds normal for associated rpm’s. It’s that the throttle is ā€œdeadā€.
  10. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Here you guys go.... One with the ass eliminator another without.. Seems to be its trying to do the auto restart after a "stall" and keeps the throttle disengaged until a full stop
  11. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

100% agree. That’s why I posted this experience here.
  12. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

so to clear up my ā€œaggressiveā€ driving and shit shifting ability. was in neutral coasting to stop at a traffic light. Mind you 3 lanes. Lots of snow and shit visablity. my focus was outside the bronco. Light turned green as I was slowing, went to shift it into 2nd to accelerate with the...
  13. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Had it on my 2022. Brought it over to my 2025. It’s the simple plug that goes behind the switch. Can turn ass on and it still does it. I’m amazed some of you drive so perfect, that ever shift, turn, braking, etc is perfection. Every day for 20 years and especially in high stress driving...
  14. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Yes. I have an ass eliminator. Ass was off. It’s seems the computer thought it was stalling. Killed the throttle to try and fix it. But quickly shifting into other gears for the driver to recover now doesn’t work as the throttle doesn’t work. It’s like the computer knows ā€œbestā€. Not the...
  15. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

    Yes… that’s a good description.
