New here, I have a ‘26 base Sasquatch on order. First Bronco.

I know previous years had MT tires from factory, but have seen a few pics with RT’s. Did ‘25’s have either and are they moving to RT’s?

Thanks!

Are they any good? I’m used to running Falken on my Jeeps.

I haven’t heard a lot on the RTs. The MTs are notorious rock throwers and either passable to good performance or the worst tire you’ve ever had, depending on your opinion

I've only got 3500 miles on my MT's so far, and haven't done any serious off-roading or been thru a winter yet, but they are impressively quiet for as big & aggressive as they are. And yeah, they pick up A LOT of rocks! Understandable, given the tread design. I have Falken AT3W's on the Maverick, and love them! 60K miles, and still 6/32's, solid in rain & snow, a bit more noise than the MT's.

I was looking at AT4W for the new Bronco but they are a fair bit heavier even as C rated.

I ran my factory Sasquatch Wrangler MTs until I had a plug in both a tire and the spare. This was just from messing around in some of my regular spots.
Took them through Hell's Revenge in Moab (not where they died), and plenty of snow wheeling. Got about 36000 miles out of them.
I have no opinion or knowledge on the other tires mentioned here and my input is completely anecdotal. I liked 'em plenty fine.

That seems to be the big trade off - weight, stength/longevity, or traction. Pick two.

I have AT4W on my F150 and they are pretty good - but yeah, in the size I wanted they were too heavy for the Bronco and I ended up with pizza cutter Nittos to get the diameter I wanted with less weight

ETA On my Bronco is early new year so the RT’s will get a good winter workout. :)

Yeah, the AT4's definitely have biased more to the heavier off-road use, vs the on-road bias of the AT3's. Luckily I found a new set of 4 AT3's at Tire Rack, to re-shoe the Maverick in a month or so. I won't have to worry about the Bronco, it's just a 20K mile lease.

I looked at the RT online and a couple of reviews. Think they will be fine for what I do. I’m not a hardcore off-road guy. They are good looking tires though, nice aggressive look. Gonna be a long wait until new year for my new Bronco.

MTs are serviceable tires. I do have two plugs in mine (5700 miles) but given the screw and the micro needle nose plier half that were stuck in them, that wouldve happened with other tires as well.

I don't get in the mud often so can't comment too much there. They're average at dry smoothish rock and lockers have gotten me out of issues (granted the slope was real), aired down or slightly aired down. Pretty quiet on pavement.

I went with Wildpeak R/T01s to replace the Goodyear M/Ts, the weight gain was noticeable, so I ended up ditching the Sasquatch wheels for Method 703s which brought fuel range back in line. I'm very happy with these tires, hard not to feel invincible.

When they're chucking rocks they're pretty loud... 😬

I would think it's the R/T's, which were updated from the M/T's. Give them a good shakedown, maybe 5k, to see how you feel. They're cheap so not worth much to resell. They are very light (in the grand scheme of things), are pretty quiet and soft.

The MT's also get flats pretty easy. I got three flats and a sidewall blowout before I replaced them with Maxxis Razr M/T's (true mud terrains), which are louder but not bad but also heavy and dropped MPG by 3mpg.

But try 'em out, keep 'em rotated every 5k, you'll have them for at least 30k.
