But... I don't understand why this is needed.
Then it is the case that you have blind spots that your mirrors are not eliminating or you have to excessively rubber neck.

With the stock mirrors proper mirror adjustment simply does not eliminate all blind spots. Proper mirror adjustment should make it possible so that a passing vehicle (on both sides) will transition between ones center rear view mirror to a side mirrors then to peripheral vision, without looking over ones shoulder (i.e. without taking ones eyes off of the road ahead), all while never losing sight of the vehicle. No matter how you adjust factory mirrors, you just can not obtain this.

I want motorized retractable mirrors that open at start up and retract when shut down.
This is possible with Bronco mirrors. There is a post about it here on the forum.

That said, you, as a vendor, are basically getting free marketing on this site.
Being a sponsor/vendor here is far from free! Just sayin'

Facts. Same here. I think the reason they didn't do this is because the windows contact the mirrors when theyre folded in, so in order for the mirrors to not break the windows they need to be loose and not have resistance that a motor would impose. But having mirrors that electronically fold would be incredibly nice, especially for tight trails.

I can understand wanting this version over the small stick on mirror, just because it looks cleaner/stock vs the bought from a gas station along with some beef jerky look.
Then again the gas station stick on look has the advantge of both a wide and normal view in one mirror housing.

But... I don't understand why this is needed. Whenever I change lane, I check the mirrors and then do a physical head check. Plus on top of that it also has the blind spot monitoring lights.
My driver side mirror is adjusted so that if I lean all the way to the left, I see the edge of my Bronco on the near side edge of the mirror. And the same for the right mirror - if I lean all the way to the right while in the driver's seat, I see the edge of my Bronco on the near side edge of the right side mirror.
The Bronco has blind spots worse than almost any vehicle I have owned. With a good set of properly adjusted mirrors ideally you should have full view of the lane on either side of you eliminating any blind area behind your peripheral view without turning to physically look. I know the blind spot lights are there, but it’s a learning curve for us old timers who were taught how to adjust and use mirrors. I actually chuckle at people who turn their heads to back up. My daily vehicles are large trucks with spot mirrors and no view out the back glass, so I’m very used to trusting a set of properly adjusted mirrors and spots.

Did you make any improvements to that horrible glued on retention ring that’s so prone to breaking?

Had the same issue. The ring is only held on by like a millimeter of 3m. The plastic ring on mine broke. Its very thin as well.

The thin plastic ring on mine broke. Not to mention there is only like a millimeter of 3M holding the glass to the mirror assembly. Plus with the way they are designed, you cant uninstall them with out the plastic ring coming off the sticky stuff. Definitely not impressed.

Why the ring and back aren't a single piece just infurates me... I'm sure it makes it cheaper to manufacture, but for the premium they charge, I expected better.

well, I never had a problem until I needed to pop off the Suma mirrors to adjust how the housing for the Oracle ditch lights Fit around side camera. And I had the ring pop off issue on only the right mirror.

dismayed. Frustrated. Surprised.

things l learned: use a longer thin pry tool and you’ll apply force closer to ring clips and it didn’t have a problem. I went on and ordered a replacement set seeing the delivery was going to be a few months. And I needed a fix for the one that did break in the meantime and gorilla glue worked incredibly well. I was surprised when the replacement mirrors (switched to grey from blue) arrived so quickly, and when popping off the right mirror — the one w gorilla glue — it came off perfectly- glue held crazy well.

so now I have a spare set (blue) that’s had a minor repair that seems to work as well or better than the original

I should just let this go…butt…

-it most likely was an admin delete. And that’s fine. Although a wee bit curious.

That said, you, as a vendor, are basically getting free marketing on this site.
For you to say Options to your product are not directly related to products you are marketing (for free) is uncalled for.
That’s not what this site is about.

Until this site has a separate sales category for merchants to hawk their wares (for free), accept that there may be posters that offer options.
Kinda what this site is all about.
Jus’ say’n…
Anybody selling a product on the product (even someone who was a member and made something and people just want to buy it) have to register for a paid account (correct me if I'm wrong). That's what the highlighted part on their detail that says "[Something] Sponsor" means.

Anyhow, the admins shouldn't be disappearing non-abusive comments. It's a trust thing. I don't know why and doubt they'll say why they were removed, but it's shortsighted to do so.

How much tint are y’all running that makes the grey too dark at night? My daughter side windows are slightly tented (legal in Alabama) but I worry about even that being too dark with these.

Just to clarify, we didn’t remove the posts related to the small blind spot mirrors. I believe our admin was simply trying to be helpful by removing them, as they’re not directly related to our mirrors 🙂

That said, it ultimately comes down to personal preference—each to their own. Naturally, we’re a bit biased and prefer the cleaner look of having the entire mirror function as the blind spot mirror. This provides a single, uninterrupted field of view and also helps reduce headlight glare thanks to our coating.

Because of this design philosophy, we currently only offer Blue or Grey options (coating). That being said, we completely understand your perspective, preferring non-blue or non-grey.
There seems to be quite a bit of want for non-tint (as has been the case in other threads about these mirrors). Is there a magic number of people willing to purchase where you would be willing to manufacturer without tint?

I love the mirrors and had them on our original bronco (we have two broncos and both of them have tinted windows) and I had to remove them because it is virtually impossible to see in certain conditions which makes the tinted Suma mirrors unusable.

Just a thought. Offer to make one version. Heat, BLIS and turn signal in a non tinted version. See how many people would buy and then decide the economics of production.

Well that makes sense! And I apologize for my (incessant) ignorance. I have edited my post.
But the underlining premise still applies... 😬

as to where the OEM mirror can be taken on and off with out breaking. I had a bird strike on the front side of my drivers mirror. the bird it it so hard the mirror folded all the way in and left a full imprint. mirror was just fine. I bet the Suma one would have flew off
