My only response is the standard STSWPAA

Not that it would be worth the hassle, but can you fight these in court like a regular ticket?

hell, even waze
Google maps has the police alerts from Waze too, and I’m always looking for that on trips. No alert this time, probably because nobody saw a cop. May have been a low-key radar/camera setup.

Thankfully in Alberta and Ontario Canada they are now banned and labeled as money grabs except in school and construction zones as supposed relief from an overall 52-75% personal tax burden LOL
They are money grabs...because the companies that operate them are not affiliated with the police. They grab most of the money and just give the police a commission.

The majority of interactions citizens have with police in the USA are around vehicles and driving. That's a lot of what policing has become for various reasons.

Indiana is supposedly moving to the "cameras in construction zones" tactic as well.

Normally, I'd be kind of pissed about that type of overreach, but this is one of those "a few bad apples" spoils it for the rest of us.
We've had WAY TOO MANY construction worker deaths in the past few years here, and because of this, I'll support it until it gets under control.
As our construction signs here say ... "Give 'em a BRAKE."

Got this picture of my Bronco from a sheriff’s office in Tennessee. They want $100 for their photography services.
Come to think of it, this past summer , somewhere in Va, WV or NC we had our picture taken by a toll road camera.
Two actually.
One we expected, a few weeks later the second from a different toll road showed up in the mail.
None of us had any idea we had even entered a toll road on that one.

At the time, the car was new to us, so we had not mounted a toll transponder yet.
