We have twins! Is that Mt Mitchell?

No this was at the top of Grandfather Mountain. We didn't get out far, if the parkway would have been open heading out in that direction we would have probably headed there too

I spent 10 minutes laughing at myself, after...

spending 5 minutes trying to figure out what those cardboard things were above your headlights:
- Bug or rock deflectors?
- Light discipline for stealthy night cruises?
- Aerodynamic improvement ideas?

THEN I saw your other high tech modifications and second photo.

Stopping at Big Four Ice Cave area, Cascades, after a run up/back a nearby rutted forest road.

Last week, I could work my way up a certain hill in 4-Low, this week the same hill had turned to mud filled moguls from other people spinning their wheels.

Rear diff lock let me walk up the thing easily.

A question for folks:
When I got home, my Bronco had a really bad stink! It was from the mud. 'like rotting old sewer and garbage.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Maybe it's from the rotten people at the "campsites" along the forest road leaving garbage and overturned toilet buckets.
