Could it be cause it's not COLD? For me the HYPERFLASH only happened with it was cold..Update: I've be emailing morimoto every month or so to see if there was any progress and to keep them aware of the issue. Here is the timeline of what i've been told so far.
Jan-19th Raised issue with Morimoto Jan-27th Morimoto acknowledged the issue and working on a fix Feb-4th New resistors sent Feb-8th New resistors received which did not fix the issue Feb-10th Was told no new fix is being developed for Mar-4th Asked for an update and was told Mar-18th Asked for an update and was told Mar-18th Follow up question of "Will they ever get back to this issue?" Response: Apr-2nd Read a post here that they weren't going to fix the issue, so I followed up and got this response: Apr-2nd Also asked if a replacement would fix my issue and got May-7th Asked for an update: (nothing changed) July-7th Asked for an update: (nothing changed) Aug-4th Asked to return these and was told to reach out to who I originally bought it from Was denied a return since its been so long (understandable) Aug-5th Told them that I cannot return them since I've been waiting for a fix, response was to have a replacement sent Follow up question: Will this replacement fix my issue? Response:
This contradicts Apr 2nd responseAug-5th Asked what changed to make a replacement now fixed? Response: Aug-5th My Response Aug-5th There response: Aug-5th Issued a warranty claim and sent the faulty set back to Morimoto Aug-20th Received new taillights Aug-21st Installed new taillights
- Drove around a little and issue is NOT present
Time will tell if this issue comes up again, and I plan to keep raising the issue to them if it does. I hope this helps some
