4 is better then 0, but doing the full thing with the three OEM parts and 6 switches is $600 in parts(someone posted all the part #'s in another thread) and this shortcut harness and 4 switches is $5 savings, but maybe less time to instal?
Someone is already selling this kit for $100 off?!?

Why the hole in the center?

There is a good YouTube video from Middleton Motorsports showing the steps to install the six aux switch setup along with the parts needed. Looks pretty simple. At some point when my warranty expires I will get around to doing the install myself. I believe they will do it for you but I’m not driving to Wisconsin.https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9100-BR

Some dealerships will do it for you, but charge like $2k labor and parts. There is a good YouTube video from Middleton Motorsports showing the steps to install the six aux switch setup along with the parts needed. The first thing I noticed was only 4 switches also. And the answer to the question is, nope, mine (2022 Wildtrak) has 6 Aux switches from factory.![]()
So I haven't paid attention to recent MY AUX switches from the factory, but do they really only have 4 switches?
I think they are leveraging some advertising loophole. I have no doubt it is the exact same factory switch PANEL. Just not the same number of switches installed in said panel. Hey, we didn't lie.Sounds like a reasonable assertion. But this quote implies otherwise:
There's 1 pre run wire from behind the glove box to the back & another from there to the front roof.I’m not too familiar with the wiring but aren’t there a couple wires that run to the back? They probably wanted to make a simple harness that didn’t include running wires to the back of the Bronco and maybe up to the top of the windshield.
There is an older thread on here with all the OEM part numbers for the factory wire harness, fuse box and 6 switch cover pieces and some Youtube how-too's. I will do that eventually too...one day.Me being OCD is just going to source the correct harness/fuse panel/switch combo from a dealer. If I can find one online, or via email, I will do that. Local dealers have been a pain to work with recently.
I prefer the factory look and quality. I need to re-do the wiring on my Wolfbox mirror anyway, so panels are going to removed regardless. Time to find the age-old thread of who to contact for a "kit"!
I came across it when I first joined B6G and started planning stuff out, then real life hit. Back to the bug of modifying so I'm back in the meantime. This is really one mod I want to knock out and actually look forward to it.There is an older thread on here with all the OEM part numbers for the factory wire harness, fuse box and 6 switch cover pieces and some Youtube how-too's. The mic. You disconnect the currently installed one and install it back through this slotUh, what’s with that mouse hole? Looks like a critter chewed through the mic.

I installed this and don't recommend it at all. These switches illuminate and allow power to connected accessories with ignition off. Meaning if don't turn it off, you can drain your battery. I thought I had made a mistake in the wiring but confirmed this is intended design from Ford engineeringThis is awesome thanks for the share, I forwarded immediately to my buddy who doesnt have the Aux Switches, he has been wanting this for a while now, Thank you!
