I realize this is an old post but having recently done some research on the Base Camp (16' REI) we've decided that the Bronco and Basecamp does not seem to be a compatible option.
Note: I'm definitely interested in Bronco owners who have actually towed the Basecamp with their Bronco and the...
Concur. We’ve used multiple service shops. Perhaps we just haven’t found the right one.
The tipping point and what just really got to us, was the way the service manager proceeded to yell at my wife (she’s the one who typically takes the Bronco in for service due to my work schedule) for...
Correct the tire rotation was just the example, a relevant example, but minor in the big picture. It just raises concern of what else isn’t being done that I can’t readily confirm. Just no confidence and for what I paid I guess I was a bit naive in thinking that Ford would be the best place to...
And honestly my primary concern is not the tire rotation, although I did ask for it and it was written on the service order. My concern is if they don’t do the simple stuff, what else isn’t getting done and just being pencil whipped.
I appreciate your reply and insight.
BLUF: (Bottom Line Up Front) - Is there a course of action to get a refund of the Ford Service plan, even after 18 months? Primarily citing Ford service centers inability to actually do simple maintenance?
Background:
We purchased the Ford Premium Service plan when we purchased our Bronco...
True... but I already use Packouts in various configurations when I head out in my Bronco.... so needless to say, there is a bit of rattling and noise already. It's a work in progress.
I love this idea... Although I have a tailgate table already, I'm inspired to leverage ways to incorporate my Packout boxes. This is a great way of combing two very useful resources.
I wasn't tracking... now I am. I'll probably be in a "drop-in for an hour or 2" mode. Lots going on around the house, so not able to do any trail riding, but definitely want to get out and enjoy what we can for the event.
Great pics... So great to get off the beaten path and enjoy the road less travelled.
We just returned (yesterday) from a week-long trip through Colorado and NM. We too were in the Ouray area (stayed in Ridgway), did some mile off-roading to include Last Dollar Road to Telluride. The sights...
I was literally about to the same thing, that is leverage the included relays on the wiring harnesses for the pod lights I've purchased. I decided, at least for this set of lights, that I'll use the Aux switches to cut the harness and go straight to the Aux switches. Primary reason, there is...
@MadMan4BamaNATL We often wind up going in or around Elijay whenever we venture out. And I just became aware of the Elijay Bacon Fest and are making plans to be up there on that Sunday. :-)
And as you mentioned, once you get out of town, and find those spots to enjoy, it's all worth it!
That's what I did... I seemed to keep "tapping" the window regardless of how careful I was both removing and installing the factory bolts. We also added a hoist for both easy on/off and storage.
