My dealer covered it under warranty. It still does it from time to time. I'd say it was a 95% improvement. Well worthwhile.

My issue is that the dealers I have contacted want the vehicle for multiple days to replicate the issue. Then once the issue has been replicated they will order the parts, and I'll have to come back to get it replaced. To me it just doesn't seem worth all the hassle for a part I can get for under $100.

Pick another dealer if you can.

The service manager at my dealer (Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ) took a 5 minute ride with me in a parking lot across the street. He was convinced after three right turns where the signal flipped back to left when I released the steering wheel.

There's a service bulletin about it, SSM 53238. Look at post #27 on this thread.

Tell them you're going to call 1-800-392-3673. It's Ford's hotline for dealer complaints.

Be a good idea to make sure you're in a good mood before you talk to them.
