Definite dog family here. Five in total during my adult life, at one point three at once.

Put my last one (German Shepherd) down almost two years ago. He was almost 14 years old and had a tumor on his spleen that was about to burst. Had another dog die during emergency surgery for the same thing but his burst. He was in horrible pain and I wasn’t about to let it happen again.

I loved all my dogs, but he was the best. Loyal, smart and always on watch. He was my best friend. I still can’t talk about him without getting choked up.

My sympathies. 🙏 Shepherds are amazing dogs, Coco is our third, we would not have another breed. 🤎

Thank you. Yes, they are amazing and I have had some great dogs, but Shepherds are just another level. I will have another at some point. In the meantime, I get my fix being a dog granddad to my son's long-haired shepherd. He too is pretty special but he has big pawprints to fill.

Ok @GToddC5 ima try this stuff because you felt so strongly about how good it is.
Something tells me I’m gonna be let down by the fierce state loyalty folks have for some really shitty food (Think Brightleaf hot dogs in NC. Yeah, I said it. They suck compared to others, as does Smithfield bacon in comparison).
But maybe not.
Maybe it’s the processed pork product legends are made from and I’ve been missing out.

Shepherds are great dogs. My wife's family always had GSDs. I always like them a lot, along with Boerboels, but got into the rottweiler world about 20 years ago and never looked back. To me, they're the ultimate breed, with GSDs and similar dogs (Dutchies, Tervurens, Mals) being just behind them. I still have a weak spot for Boerboels and Great Danes too.

Rotty’s kill me. Silliest dogs out there, especially when you’re their person. And Great Danes? They break my heart. My boy lived to 11 and I still miss him 7 years after his crossing of the rainbow bridge. And then of course the pibble. Another favorite.

Rotties really are the silliest dogs ever. I've been fortunate enough to be around so many great ones. Not only mine, but dogs belonging to friends, clients and of course my preferred breeder. All have been absolutely amazing.

My girlfriend’s parents have a couple of Rotties and they are the sweetest. One of them has really imprinted herself on me. Every time I go there she’s like a Velcro. She can’t get close enough to me.

Get you some nice brioche rolls, smear some mayo on them and fry 'em a little bit. Sliced cheese on the pork roll when finishing frying of course, layer 'em up. I like a little spicy mustard on there and boom, an incredible sammich! Add an over easy egg before closing and make it a breakfast sammich!

I was not impressed.
Sorry, Charlie.
Spam has considerable sodium content but is good occasionally fried up with cheese and mayo, and a good garden tomato.
This stuff has so much sodium in it I couldn’t eat it.
Tried a fried slice.
Gave the pups a half slice each (which is equivalent to 7 human slices. Supposedly).
I tried it.
I’ll try about any kinda food once.
y’all have at it up there in the Jersey Devil Piney Woods all ya want.

Meh, it's ok. Most of the country fucks up cheesesteaks, so I'm just gonna believe you just didn't have it right. And for what it's worth, I don't buy the Taylor stuff. I find the stuff at the Amish Market to be better.

New York, Chicago, Detroit, etc?
I like New York style with thin crispy crust - Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, Onion & Green Pepper.

What say you?
