It really bothers me the way the windows go up and down a little when you open and close the doors. It’s the only way to get the windows tight to the top. I’m guessing it was a major blunder by ford and they have no other way for the windows to fit tight to the top. It’s only a matter of time before these broncos get some years on them and the windows eventually start to break or they don’t get a tight weather seal with the top.
This frameless window design has been around for years on other cars, it's nothing new.

It's the trigger that is the problem. It should use the touch unlock or lighter pull to activate sooner. Mine has the same problem, whereby the door needs to be pulled to activate and the left-most side of the window (by the mirror) catches the seal.

Finally more people observing the biggest issue with the Bronco… the stinking windows. It retracts way to slow. And it rattles like a banshee when semi rolled down over bumps….. when will this be addressed….
1. Too slow retracting
2. Too loose in the rails otherwise

1.5 sigma engineering has even fallen lower to 1 at Ford with this inadequate and dainty design.

Sometimes I feel the window is gona explode when closing the door.

Does anyone else have an issue that when they open their doors the auto window retract is a bit slow and the widows hit/get stuck as you open the door. Sometimes I am afraid I am going to snap the window in half especially when it’s cold. I mentioned to my dealer they recognized the issue but said they haven’t seen a fix yet.

Anyone else have this problem and get it resolved?
My '24 has the same problem - if I pull the handle slowly, it opens the window enough, but if I pull the handle quickly it catches on the weatherstripping. Did you ever get this issue resolved?

No I haven’t and ford doesn’t have a solution sadly.

Same here. I had a 2024 big bend built in December last year and did not had this issue. I traded that for a 2024 HLE and sure enough, it does exactly what everyone here has experienced. I did watch a video where you can adjust the windows yourself and avoid the floppy window issue. I will try it later and let you guys know if it worked.

Why is everyone running around with their top on? 🫣

My 2023 is incredibly slow. We just received our 2025 and the minute you put any pressure to open the door from the outside the window drops and it works seamlessly. I’m wondering if that quick trigger could be applied to the older Broncos somehow.

Ford really screwed up the engineering on this...
When I reach around the door handle with the door locked, I can immediately hear the back sensor detect and unlock the door.
WHY DIDNT THEY USE THIS SENSOR FOR THE WINDOW DROP?
Instead, they rely on a different sensor to detect the handle pull...but it IS slow, especially if you're Bronco has been parked and the ignition is off (why, I do not know).
Can't believe this hasn't been fixed in the last 4 years

It is a consistent problem on my 2021 Badlands. Sometimes it catches so bad it throws the window out of the seal and when you shut the door the window is outside the seal. You have to lower the window and let it pop back into place.

It rains in Wyoming? 🫢
it Hails. Marble to nearly baseball sizes. But there is some rain that comes with it. Wind is really strong mostly the beginning of the year and can range from 70 mph to 110 MPH on a good day
