Thanks! Is there ANY documentation on the programming? I’ll be reading through this thread more closely now that I’m invested in trying to make this happen. I’ve been a bit MIA from the forum. I’m in the beginning stages of planning out my 2.0 build and this would be a cherry on top.

No but to be totally honest it took me about five hours to figure out that literally all I had to do was write the As Built data from a 2025 with matching options to make everything work. That in itself took ~5 seconds, so a lot of time to find the right path but now that we know that’s all it is you’ll have an easy time.

I've already swapped braptor cluster into my bronco 2.7 wild track 2021, everything works fine except traction control, precollision and goat modes. dtc codes are U2010 & U2017. I tried many IPC updates via forscan with no luck.

Unfortunately with the Raptor cluster I have no idea, I’m sorry! Since it’s a different part it’s unlikely it’ll work perfectly

So, once you write 2025 As-Built your vehicle starts from scratch and all of the other ForScan customizations that were made in the past need to be re-written?

Also assuming I’ll need a VIN from a 2025 with manual transmission. That might be hard to come by…

Nah. Go on autotrader and just search the whole country. There’s enough of them to get a vin

The Bronco Raptor may be too different for it to work straight up. Have you tried side-loading both IPC files from a 2025 IPC onto that one?

And success! 2022 is all digital now. Had to put the original bezel back in since that’s taking two more weeks to come but honestly easier than I thought it would be

Excellent Where did you get it and how much was it? I did some calling around and most of these dealers are useless. I did however find it on line for $845 but there's a $300 core charge?

You just write the instrument cluster - not every single other module

Not sure you’ll even need FDRS, @coadr was able to just load the IPC as-built data from a similar 25

I only wrote the as built data from the 25 for the IPC via Forscan. That’s super important, 100% do not write the as built for any other modules because I assume you’ll have major issues. And of course back up your existing as built data both before you unplug the old cluster and again before you write any data to the new one.

Did you have and customizations for the IPC?

I only wrote the as built data from the 25 for the IPC via Forscan. That’s super important, 100% do not write the as built for any other modules because I assume you’ll have major issues. And of course back up your existing as built data both before you unplug the old cluster and again before you write any data to the new one.

All good I appreciate the emphasis. So for clarity:

Save as built -> swap cluster -> write ‘25 as built to IPC -> update mileage -> enjoy

That seems ways easier than messing with FDRS.
