HOSS 3.0 Suspension Kits - Now available from Ford Performance!

So I was doing my typical parts hunting for my Bronco Break series on YouTube (also because I'm obsessed and apparently have nothing better to do). Tonight's parts hunt found something I did not expect, and I'm sure many of you will be interested in it. So I'm sharing it now rather than waiting for the video.

Ford is now selling the HOSS 3.0 suspension kit standalone through Ford Performance! Comes with both front and rear coilovers, and a rear stabilizer bar. The wording in the product description suggests that it's intended for installation on a non-Sasquatch Bronco, but I don't see why you couldn't use it on a Sasquatch Bronco if you wanted—you just might end up with a stabilizer bar that probably matches the one you already have.

To anyone who has actually swapped out the front coil-overs, do you REALLY need to go as far as pulling the front wheel bearings out of the uprights?!?! That seems CRAZY!!!

Hmm for less $$ one could order the Bilstein 6100/6112’s. I understand you get a warranty but I haven’t seen a direct comparison between the two. Are these better than 6100’s?

6100s would be more comparable to the Bilstein HOSS 2.0

These are Foxes and are a small step down from the Live Valve found on the Raptor

If they were height - adjustable it would be killer. The price isn’t horrible

That's interesting, Sas and these Fox shocks use to claim 1.1" over standard Bronco's, funny this claims 2".

Depends on vehicle weight - so that’s probably about right. Non SAS trims, stock, will usually have a lighter FDU, probably no armor, part time tcase, etc

Yeah it’s probably roughly the same as Sasquatch height.

Non-Sas to Sas was around that 1.5” mark depending on curb weight and spring rate. If this is just the same suspension that was on Wildtrak it is probably sprung for what the Wildtrak curb weight was. And that was the heaviest trim other than Badlands.

Most of the non-Sas Broncos (other than Badlands) are a fair amount lighter, so I could see how it’s closer to a 2” lift than a 1” lift.

Across a given trim level, yes. But Wildtrak was the most narrowly defined trim level - it had the least amount of variance in shipped weight.

So take those springs and put them on other things, and ride height is gonna be different. For a SAS it’ll prolly be close to the same. Badlands (nonSAS) may change just a bit but not much - they had different steps than SAS even though they had HOSS 2. Non-SAS I totally believe 1-2” is legit
