Not sure...that's the "Hey you left your FOB in here with me running!" Dinger...not sure I would even remove that, even it were available.![]()
It’s actually just the opposite (“Hey you took your FOB out of here with me running!” dinger)
FWIW….Leaving your FOB in the vehicle while it’s running is called “driving”
But seriously - the double honk is a truly annoying feature. Many people keep their FOBs in their pocket or otherwise on their person (I keep mine in a sheath on my belt). So your neighbors will hate you when you get out to check your mail at 5AM on your way to work.
I turned it off. Using Forscan.
SIDE NOTE I JUST LEARNED LAST WEEK: even with this feature disabled, if you try to lock your doors with the engine off and key inside you’ll still get the double honk. Probably a different setting somewhere for this feature. But given that I went a whole year without even knowing it existed - it’s hardly something that bothers me.
