Drive a Jeep first….
I've had 6 of them in the last 40 years. I really like the Bronco better but it worries me about the engine recall the most. Could it leave me stranded again?

The engine recall is already out. Has been for weeks.
It's been out for way longer than that but they don't have a fix for it. I got mine recall almost a year ago for it.

Man that sucks.
Good luck if you go back to Jeep 🤣 Toyota’s not the answer either.

Zero recalls and zero problems (that I didn’t cause) on my 2024 Black Diamond so far. Knock on wood.
I had zero recalls the first year too. Now I have about 5 or 6 pending. Some over a year old

Change that to months. I have some over a year old.
And? Big deal. Gathering parts for some recalls takes time. Once again this is nothing new for ANY manufacture.
Are any of them actually affecting the way your Bronco drives? Likely not.
Go get your engine recall done so you have one less to complain about 🤷‍♂️

My JL has been flawless 2.5 years in. Not one trip to the dealer, zero recalls to date. Knock on wood.

I really wanted a Bronco, but Ford made it real easy to pick Jeep again at the time. Unless the JL turns into a flaming bag of poo before the 5/60 is up, Ford might never get my money in this segment of the market.

Go get them done? How? I've tried for over a year on some.

Once again, the engine recall is already out with a repair available. I don't know why you can't understand what I'm typing.
You can go get it done whenever you want.

It will be ok just drive and enjoy it. Ford will take care of it for free. The ones that were dropping valves got extended warranty to 125k miles i think. At least these recalls aren't really dangerous. just think i daily drove a 2004 Ranger for 13 years with a grenade behind the steering wheel. Never lost sleep over it. ford fixed it twice and i still drive it. People always be blaming ford. the shocks are made by Bilstein not ford. the airbags were made by Takata not ford. how could i blame ford for it? the black screen sound like a software issue that they will update. As for parts, it takes a while to manufacture enough to fix hundreds of thousands of vehicles.

Mine is a 2021 First Edition. I have recalls that are over a year old that they still say they don't have parts for. Shocks for instance. Rearview camera is another. The main one is the engine recall.
How many of these recalls are affecting the drivability of your Bronco? If it is zero, why are you worrying about them? The shock recall is mostly a corrosion issue with the reservoirs falling off and it’s not a Ford deal It is a supplier deal. Does your rear camera work? If it does, why are you worried about the recall? If it doesn’t, you have mirrors, this is only the second vehicle I’ve ever had with a rear camera and I never backed into anything in 50 years of driving lol. At least Ford’s trying to fix potential problems before they happen.
As far as the engine recall, get that thing down there and get it assessed and get your free 100k mile engine warranty.

And people forget about the Takata airbag recall. driving around with a grenade behind the steering wheel. I still drove my Ranger. I had no choice but i didn't complain.

And that was across many manufacturers, including BMW.

If your engine hasn’t blown up by now, chances are it’s gonna be OK but they have to assess it before they can give you the extended warranty. For FREE .
