A dealer would not sell a 2024 Badlands because it had active recalls.
Obviously but I've had mine for 6 months and the way some of you talk about recalls makes it sound like I should have had about 28 by now.

Got another recall in the mail today. Boy they sure are piling up. I have about five of them now that cannot be repaired. Trying to get into my phone app to see exactly how many I have piled up but now it has me blocked out, but I was in it yesterday just fine and now it just has a Ford logo when I sign in and I can’t get past it. Tell me how you can have a couple of recalls for over a year and they still don’t have a fix for it. Engine failure, shock failure back up camera failure among other things, but I can’t get in there to see them all right now. That’s pretty convenient that it’s blocking me out of the app.
i’ve decided that Ford has the shittiest customer service of any car manufacturer around. They don’t give a shit about those of us that have already bought Broncos. They don’t have the parts to fix them, but they’re still making new Broncos to sell. It’s really too bad that someone from Ford does not monitor this form and try to help those of us who bought their products. They just leave us out in the cold and wait for us to break down and then what?
and then when you do take them in to be fixed, they take a week to fix a 30 minute repair and don’t have a loaner car for you so you’re paying for insurance car payments and everything else while they have your vehicle stuck in their shop. This will be the last Ford I ever buy. I will go back to Jeep next time.
Shit happens, I wouldn’t lose sleep over it, I’m certainly not.

...and BMW is worst.
It's a shame to hear that about BMW cars... all my BMW motorcycles (including my current one) have been sold as a rock.

This is literally nothing new. Recalls are always announced in advanced before parts are available, the same as any other brand lol

If you can’t or don’t want to wait, sell it 🤷‍♂️
Straight to the point, I like it! Thank you.

I’ll loan you my 2 door wrangler if you’d like. But keep a change of underwear on ya in case the death wobble sets in, it’s like taking a laxative.

Ford literally said the rear shocks could fall off while driving; but keep on driving because we don't have parts.

Or buy a new one we put your parts on…

Curious how these recalls affect our resale value?

I always laugh at posts like this especially because I’m sure you don’t work in any industry like this. I’m an engineer for a forklift company and it’s no different. You’re going to issue a recall to inform your customers there is a potential issue and a fix is coming, not just sweep it under the rug and act like nothing is going on. Ford certainly has a fix they just need to source parts OR are waiting until they have enough/a certain amount.
How easy do you think it is to source say 400k shocks for example at the snap of your fingers? Nobody has that many just laying around. Relax dude it’s all good, no big deal.

Go ahead and buy a heep. You’ll certainly come crawling back lol

I get it, the recalls are annoying.
I'm frustrated that they can't seem to find any spare parts for recalls, but have thousands of new Broncos sitting on lotstoo.

But none of these are really that "dangerous", they just have to call them a safety recall because unfortunately in today's world, they cater to the lowest common denominator of stupid people (think the Toyota recall for floor mats because people were dying when they were too stupid to put a car in neutral when the gas pedal was stuck)

The reservoir, not the shocks themselves.
If the reservoir failed & fell off, you'd lose the fluid & your ride would get bumpy, but unless you're a complete moron, you'd be able to safely get the vehicle home safely.

Rear camera? They're a handy feature. If you don't know how to back up without using one, please go to your local DMV & turn your license in.

Fuel pump - it would be hella frustrating if it failed, but in 99% of cases, you'd be able to at least get out of the way of traffic & call a tow.

None of these are that bad.

Man that sucks.
Good luck if you go back to Jeep 🤣 Toyota’s not the answer either.

Zero recalls and zero problems (that I didn’t cause) on my 2024 Black Diamond so far. Knock on wood.

Mine is a 2021 First Edition. I have recalls that are over a year old that they still say they don't have parts for. Shocks for instance. Rearview camera is another. The main one is the engine recall.

1) That sucks

2) Uninstall the app and re-download it.

3) Jeep is not the answer. Not by a long shot.
I have been driving Jeeps for 40 years and yes they have had recalls but they could fix them and gave me a loaner car while doing so. They had my Bronco for 3 weeks to replace the alternator once.

The engine recall is already out. Has been for weeks.
