ARB Brushless Air Compressors

That new Brushless is one expensive ass air compressor....

I currently have my ARB Twin mounted and it's been for almost 2 years now. Purchased from 4x4TruckLEDs with their bracket.

I have high hopes for this new Brushless, but at $1K, not sure it's worth that much more than the tried and true old version unless they stop selling it.

For now, I'll stick with the one I have. Already have seen a comparison video and it's only marginally faster in airing up off-road tires, gets almost as hot, and is still loud as all heck with a higher pitch sound, but it does seem to work well.

We've not had a chance to even test it on our own vehicle. We're putting our customers ahead of us so whenever we get inventory we ship it out to customers who have orders in with us.

We have more coming in next week BUT I believe they are being allocated to existing pre-orders with us.

How often do you get stock in? I know it's kind of iffy coming from ARB (I remember ordering an awning during covid). My order only went in about a week ago, but trying to determine whether I'll have installed for a trip in early July.

I have a few questions regarding the KR Off-Road Brackets and optional bracket with coupler and switch.

1. I have an ARB brushless twin so would I need to specifically request your new bracket version that's compatible?
2. Do you think you'll eventually develop a plug in play switch harness for the new brushless or will my only option be to modify the harness you offer in the air coupler switch bracket kit?
   1. I'm comfortable with wiring, but I'm wondering if I just need to be patient.
3. Is the factory upfitter switch powerful enough for the new brushless with it's up to 90A usage?
   1. I thought the highest rated upfitter switch was capable for 30A?

if you order the complete kit from us we make sure you get the brackets compatible since we can see the brushless added on

there is no plug and play harness option… at least not one we will do. The arb compressor harness is completely different and already has a trigger wire for an upfitter OR separate switch

1 wire has to be ran to the battery to the switch if you decide to use an external switch and our bracket (the coupler/switch bracket) -the ground wire is optional IF you want the switch to light up - in which case just run a ground wire to your chassis

your not powering the compressor from an upfitter or the switch…they just act as a trigger - power for the compressor comes direct from the battery

My brushless is going to be delivered in a few days so I won't be adding one on when I order the mount kit, which is why I was asking how can I make sure I get a compatible mount bracket.

I ordered from a shop that had it listed as in stock. I wasn't sure of your turnaround time since there was an order queue.

Is there a way I can make sure I order a brushless compatible mount without buying the compressor from you?

These have not been in stock for months… we get notifications IF any distributors get stock and nobody has gotten any - we also have pending orders on direct with arb soooo we’ve heard stories of customers who had claims from shops they would shop AND nothing ships

we actually had some lucky customers who got brushless from us last week as a matter of fact (pays to get on our pre order list)

Well, it appears I was misled. I was supposed to get a tracking ID yesterday with fast shipment, but I just called the shop today and they said they expect a restock beginning of July.

The shop is 4wheelparts and their site has it listed with "In stock ships within 24 hours". What a letdown.
