Yup, but so is central Florida and I don’t mind the heat. We went to Moab last August too. It was in the mid 90’s most days and the humidity was much lower than here. One just has to take extra precautions - carry lots of water, sunscreen, some food and be prepared to spend a night on the trail if need be. I carry an inner tie rod and enough tools to fix nearly anything on the Bronco. I’m fully prepared. And I have means to contact Trail Mater if necessary.Moab in August will be hot!![]()
There’s a whole series of benefits from going then including lower lodging costs, town isn’t busy, but best of all, had the trails to ourselves. Didn’t see another soul on Poison Spider and Steel Bender. Pure joy.
