My Model Y beeps when it recognizes a green light- sometimes quicker than I can even react sometimes. Like… I’m pretty impatient with green light pausers but that thing takes the cake.
Here's what I've learned from the 10,000 'Wave' threads I've read since joining this forum in April.
-BRaptor drivers are saints
-Non-BRaptor drivers are jerks
-Waving is rude
-Not waving back is rude
-Bronco drivers are very sensitive

Headed down to Clifty Falls for a weekend camping trip. Anyone have suggestions on good trails to hit? I see Bloody Run and N Bee Camp on OnX. Where else should I be looking?
omg I just can't anymore.
'Tyrranical environmentalists' aykm? Thats a bit hyperbolic. Again - you all have the RIGHT to turn off Auto Stop/Start by pressing a button or buying an inexpensive part. No one is telling you what to do or how to live... consider it a suggestion maybe...?
Do y'all...
I can't believe we're still talking about this. This may be the most triggered car community I've ever been a part of... it's really hard to spend time on this forum.
Sorry guys - I think my original comment may have been misconstrued and probably came off a little harsh.
I intended to say in a tongue in cheek way that based on my read-through of this thread and others like it, there seems to be a good number of people whose only problem with the feature is...
I can agree that it would be nice if we had the choice. And we do by spending $100 on a little harness.
This is purely conjecture, but if I had to guess, Ford understands their core demographics and/or has data that shows that if the car simply remembered the last setting for ASS, there would...
I'll bite.
Accept me because I'm human. Not because of the color of my hair.
Also accept that even if the feature saves only 0.1 MPG - over 15 million cars sold driving ~14,000 miles annualy is 21,000,000,000 gallons of gasoline not consumed each year.
And yes, I'll condemn someone all day...
I guess I just don't see the huge inconvenience of pushing the button when I don't want ASS to kick in. I already have to double click my Raptor button (which actually does save ASS setting), press the OK button twice to clear the Offroad Use Only and Seatbelt warnings, and shift the vehicle...
Judging by a shocking number of the comments here, lots of folks dislike it simply to be contrarian edgelords who purposely disregard science to seem cool. The same people that are excited that the R word is 'back' and would call me a f*ggot for having purple hair.
If you don't like ASS, do...
Likely going with TrailRax with the Pak Rax additions (still waffling between half and full though)
I’d honestly feel comfortable installing myself, but living in an apartment with no garage to do the work kinda necessitates looking elsewhere.
I visited Total Offroad & More near Fishers last...
Telsa Model Y Performance. I absolutely adore the car, but at the risk of getting political backlash - f*ck Tesla as long as Musk is associated.
I wanted to get into wheeling/overlanding, and was originally going to wait for my Rivian R2 reservation, but decided that was going to be too long of...
