My Bronco is my daily driver.
In 8,000 miles, I haven't been off road yet. But I was one of 4 to make it in to work when we got our big snow storm (8", but nobody in western Tn drives in snow, and most roads were un-plowed). Would have been home like the rest if I still had my 2wd F250.
Kinda sorta how I was with my H2 and My 93 Bronco. Mostly to have a fun daily ride, but still able to go off road or be out in conditions I otherwise wouldn't be able to.
But I will be at the Off Rodeo May 10th, and will spend the next week off roading in Eastern Tn.

Don’t have a bronco yet. But to be honest, I’m not thst interested in beating it up off roading all the time.

I am however interested in climbing up some hills nearby from time to time. On my property in the mountains there are some challenges to getting around in spots. I have some electric carts designed for this, but if much rather do it in the bronco. Besides that, it will be my daily, so though it may see some mall time, it’s pretty minimal. More like work, the gym, the movies, the beach, AND YEARLY trips to mammoth.

Was debating the x5 m60i or the bronco raptor. The only reason I’ve held out is the v8 in the bmw with only a v6 in the bronco. If the raptor came with a boosted v8, it would be in my driveway already. If I went with the x5, I certainly wouldn’t think about climbing mountains at all though. LOL.

The mall around here was torn down several years ago so it doesn't even see that much action. I did drive it on my lawn; once.
In fact my old ass Explorer saw more off roading than my Bronco ever will.

Love having a pristine bronco. Not a spot on it. Goes great with my gazelle tent, which has also never touched dirt. It's immaculate and if I wanted I could pitch it right on the living room floor it's so clean. Same with my lawn mower, weed wacker, my bike, my miter saw. These things cost a lot and it'd be a shame to see them get scratched or filthy. Plus, if I ever sell the bronco, I'll be able to get a good $1000 more than an equivalent bronco that's gotten dirty.

You nailed it! Exactly my thoughts.

Bet he loved the Rover lol
He's at PolyCal, and a chick magnet. I wish I had something like that when I was his age. I was in the military academy at that time.

I believe there is a difference in fun offroading and trashing a vehicle. BUT to each their own.

I am a firm believer in what you said. I've seen so many videos of the wannabee Youtube "stars" where I was asking myself "why in the Hell, would someone do that?" I was never destructive with my toys as a kid. It stuck with me.

No way I would take my Bronco to the mall. My 22 BL only has 13K miles on it. Garage kept and clean enough to perform an appendectomy on the hood and have no concerns about infection setting in. It’s off road life is the beaches of the Mid Atlantic. I sweat bullets when the surf rods are in the trail sight holders and may create a scratch. Lol

Technically, yes. I've worked as a Retail Developer for over 22 years. Accordingly, mine can definitely be found at a Mall 3-5 days/week. However, it's not the reason I bought her...

Our off-the-grid family cabin requires 4WD to access and my hunting trips often require 4WD.
I love the Modern American Moat! 😁

Looks like you got mauled by a flock of seagulls... 🧐
Not enough hair for that...

I just finished feeding my animals and had some free time. What to do? Wash/wax Bronco of course (it was a little dusty). I like my girls CLEAN. As in "eat of the floor (or eat whatever) clean".
Easy there now papaw...There might be some youngins runnin round!
