Has anyone confirmed that the 2025 has the same stitched dash as the 2024? In the Ford configurator, the dash is a different color, almost grey and does not have the orange stitching.

Build and price pictures aren’t accurate the majority of the time. Even 2024 shows the same grey dash you’re referring to.

Ahhh you are right, I was certain it showed the stitching. I guess I got confused with the auto trader pics

Glad I searched before making a new thread!

Now that some '25s are hitting the lots, I noticed the stitched dash wasn't universally included in the Badlands I'm seeing.
So after looking at about a dozen '25 Badlands and scouring through the window stickers, it appears the stitched dash is only included with the Leather-Trimmed/Vinyl Seats – Black Onyx option. It also appears the handle colors are no longer school bus yellow. black with MGV and tan with leather.

it didnt seem that any other options had a bearing on it (lux, top option, etc)

links for reference:

PLAIN DASH, 334A, MGV, SAS

PLAIN DASH, 334A, MGV, PAINTED BLACK TOP, SAS
PLAIN DASH, 332A, MGV, PAINTED BLACK TOP, NON-SAS

SOOO much carpet in the Badlands? I thought it was a more badass version. It looks like a $70k mall whip, at least that Ford City red one with leather and wall-to-wall carpet front, back, and storage area like a Lincoln town car. I'm glad I got the cheap one, and I can hose it out.

Pretty disappointed in this. Not a fan of the tan at all. Could live with it on the handles and vents but the Bronco letters on the dash being tan really doesn't look good at all to me.

Agreed. Prefer the non-stitched plain dash and glad that’s what I’m getting. Gray-black throughout.

That first one, is that a Badlands? It doesn't have the right accent colors inside; they're like a sand color. And the walkaround outdoor photos are generated. Funny there is one outdoor photo showing a wheel. Based on this first one, I'd be a little suspect about what that dealer site is saying.

Edit: But it does have all the accessory buttons on the dash. Maybe 2025 really is just different.

Seriously.

I do NOT want any carpet in any vehicle.

Period.

I end up having to buy vinyl floor liners just to cover up the carpet. It makes no freaking sense at all.

I’m not driving barefoot. I’m not lying on the floor of the car.

I’m literally wearing shoes the entire time. I’m not the sort of savage that wears my shoes inside the house walking around on the carpet, so why do people think I want to do that in a car.

Vinyl flooring is the only appropriate answer.

The dealer gave me front carpets on top of my vinyl floors and I took them off immediately and will keep them for when I trade it in. I got more heavy-duty rubber mats for all the floors, trunk, and back seat as well.

I thought the Outer Banks was the luxury/soccer mom spec, but I guess Badlands as well with leather and carpet everywhere. Not good for going outdoors, beach days, kids, or pets, not sure who Badlands is for with all the aux switches and off-road extra gear and super plush interior. Ford needs to justify the 70k price I guess so you get a Persian rug department inside.

My Badlands has liners over vinyl. Wish the rear seat back didn’t have carpet on it, but I got those liners that Velcro on.

2021 Badlands came with carpet with the LUX package. I have carpet in my 21. I can guarantee you it does not live at the mall.

Good floor maps cover the carpet. Fully. Front, Back, Cargo. I have had zero issues. Take the muddy mats out, clean them stick it back in. My carpet still looks new underneath.

My last trip out........
