Congrats on your new rig! I HIGHLY recommend the Ford Performance tune. It makes the MT even more fun. The increase in horsepower and throttle response is pretty dang cool. Only downside is 91/93 octane fuel is required.

Also, NICE COLOR. :D
Ford Performance tune isn't available for the new 2.3L and who knows when it may be available as there still isn't one for the 2024 Mustang Ecoboost using the same engine.

Update after some more driving:

Monday my wife and I went up to Loon Lake in the Sierra. We had an enjoyable drive and a great picnic by the lake in ideal weather. The Bronco got its first dirt, briefly. Yesterday we drove to Folsom to check the place out and grab lunch, and the Bronco was a blast to drive. I'm loving the 4.7 gears in combination with the transmission.

Now I understand why people don't like the electronic parking brake! My van has the old-fashioned stick type which is so much better IMO.

During the trip yesterday, my wife noticed a Bronco across from us at a traffic light. It was an Eruption Green 2-door Badlands. I opened my window, waved, and gave a thumbs-up, and the driver returned these as he drove past us.

Gas mileage so far is around 17.5 in mixed driving - city, high-speed boulevard, highway, and mountain.

Congrats! Happy New Bronco Day!!

I've had my OBX since April and it still puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it. I'm headed to Moab in about ten days for my Off Roadeo experience!

Please don't forget to apply that parking brake when parked on any moderate hill. The low compression turbo engine doesn't provide much braking to the transmission and will allow it to roll down the littlest inclines. If yours is anything like mine, your mileage will improve with age. Change the fluids early and often and you should have a great vehicle for years to come.

Enjoy!!
