Guessing that, even though it will fit regular Broncos, the Ford part number is still tied to the Raptor.

AFAIK Ford Performance parts need to be shipped to a dealer for pick-up.
My order claims it they are shipping to my address. It didn't ask for a dealer to ship to either. We will see when it ships.

So funny to me that the instructions include the step where you have to dremel out the corner of the spare tire mount. It’s a good kit though! Been running the pieced together version from ordering the parts individually for over a year and have had no problems.

Do I need it? Prob not. Would it benefit my Badlands when OEM 33’s wear and get replaced with 35’s.

Probably not.

BUT IT LOOKS COOL.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing. Have 33s now, planning on going to 35s once my 33s wear out. Kinda want it. I know I don't need it, but I want it.

It depends on the total amount of weight you're hanging off it. If you go to 85lbs 35" tires and upgrade to Sas 35lbs rims (which would be heavy for your axles, too), you're at 120lbs give or take (not including if you put anything on the tire like gas cans). If you keep it under 110lbs, I would say you're probably ok. I believe the limit is around 130lbs, I just wouldn't want to get that close.

So yeah, probably don't need it but tire size matters a lot less than total weight.

I love my Turn Offroad reinforcement, but I am very happy that someone at Ford used that space between their ears and included hinge replacements in the official upgrade.

It looks like the hinge attachment bracket thingies (official name?) are also upgraded/replaced. Is it just for the mounting holes of the new hinges or something that maybe everyone, with extra weight back there, should upgrade?

Looks like a brace that goes on the other side. kind of interesting to me. I too am happy with the TOR solution.

I paid $9.99 to have it shipped directly to me.
Thanks for the heads up Bryan.! Been wanting this vs the M2M or Hammerbuilts for nearly the same price without hinges.

I ordered one and says shipping to me for $9.99 as well.

Long range prep for 37s and running some more gear & firewood weight in the trash bag for now.

It's a pretty sweet deal! I paid twice as much for these parts two years ago. This tailgate reinforcement and hinges fixed the clicking noise issue my Bronco had. Ford should have installed them on all the Broncos equipped with 35" tires.
