Last night my drivers side rear halogen blinkers was not working and was blinking rapidly in the truck. This morning it was fine and working for a few miles, then back to rapid blinking and not working. It’s been going back and forth to working, not working, back to working all day. Any idea what may be causing this? I do have the Curt trailer harness installed, but it’s been there for a few years without issue.

Known issue I say. My bulbs are all good, OUTSIDE blinking is normal. Only INSIDE is it fast blink. I've seen other reports. When I have to go in....I'll have them take care of it.

When mine was blinking fast last night, the bulb was not blinking. It does when slow.

Usually it's a bad bulb/light (could be water in a housing) or a wiring issue (cut or pinched wire, harness/connector dirty or loose, pin in a harness loose or corroded). I wouldn't be surprised if low battery SOC could occasionally cause this, but I've not heard of it happening.

I know everyone says their rigs are perfect and don't have any of those issues - but that's really all that will cause it. You gotta dig and actually inspect.

it happens to me occasionally, and fortunately I know exactly where I pinched the wire to cause it.
