No regrets.... 37" K02s, no lift, no rub, no issues. Factory wheels and roughly 30k miles so far.

37x12.5 on factory beadlock capable wheels (converted to true beadlocks).

did 3” front spacer and 1.5” rear.

used Forscan and speedo is nutz on.

Bronco sits level and other than a fuel economy hit - never know it’s not stock.

How did you do this? Body lift?

That was my first thought. If KO2s run a bit small, maybe 36" then would 1.5" body lift be enough?

Hey, tire size vary from manufacturer.

My K02s are actually 36.5" AT so not a true 37" and stayed with the OEM wheels on a Wildtrak.

Later, I remove the crash bars bcuz I was tired of looking at them.

IMO... body lifts are cheating and belong mall rats!

I didn't get my bumpstops set right for 37s and it ruined my fenders, so I guess I regret that.
I was admiring your avatar and thinking there may have been other, larger regrets in play. =P

How long ago did that happen? Did you crease a fender?

It's been a cumulative effort from getting hammered over time. They're pushed up quite a bit, I can fit a finger in the door gap and the grille doesn't fit right anymore, plus the paint stress cracked in the upper corner by the grille.

Nope I love mine. Added a Pulsar XT piggyback tune for more power to turn heavy tires and also correct the speedometer. I lost about 1-1.5 mpg with 37s, but I can live with that.

Nice looking 2dr!

It's funny about the mpg loss; I went to Maxxis Razr M/T's at 35" (34.8" new), which are also wider in reality than the stock Sas tire. Weighs (I think) 72lbs? And at 38psi, I lose about 1.5-2mpg, kind've a wash without messing with the speedo setting. At 32psi, I lose about 3-3.5mpg. I feel less of the loss was the tire weight and instead is due to the road grip/wider tire.

Not that there isn't loss from weight (I can feel the engine needs more oomph to get them going), but that these grippier tires can make a bigger difference. Maybe I'll get the Razr A/T's next and see if that holds up or not (they are like 65lbs).

Try to limit the weight if you can. These were really engineered with a lightweight not-quite-35" tire in mind. I personally wish someone made a pizza cutter in a true 37 (like the Kenda Klever), but I don't think they exist (correct me if I'm wrong).
Not sure I’d classify them as pizza cutters but Nitto makes a 37x11.5. Comes in at 71# and actual measurements of 36.5 x 11.4 on a 9” measured rim. You loose/gain about 0.20” for every 0.50” variance in actual rim width vs measured rim width. So adjusted for 8.5” rims these would measure out closer to 36.5 x 11.2.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Nitto&tireModel=Recon+Grappler+A/T&partnum=715R7REG&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

So here are the tires I've been researching - probably not buying for another season, but just for comparison. All in 37x12.5R17 unless otherwise stated

Delium Terra Raider KU-257 - no weight given
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT (LRD) - 80 lbs
Falken Wildpeak AT4S (LRE)- 78 lbs
Nitto Recon Grappler AT (37x11.5) (LRD) - 71 lbs
BFG TA KO2 (LRC) - 65 lbs
BFG TA KO2 (LRD) - 70 lbs

For comparison - stock SAS GY Territory: 52 lbs

So no matter what tire you really step up to, there's going to be a weight impact.
Weight is certainly worth paying attention to regardless of size. While this topic is around 37’s, the reality is the stock GY’s @ 52# in a 35” is hard to beat/match even if you upgrade to other 35’s. No doubt the 37’s are heavier but a lot of the variance is due to the GY’s being so crazy light weight.

Another savvy way to trim weight is wheels. RTR Evo6 in 17x9 is only 22.5# and the RTR Tech6’s are only 26#. Some Methods are in the mid to upper 20’s. Stock SAS wheels are 34# with beauty rings and will go up with true beadlocks. Other options exist but forged and lightweight is usually pricey.

On a separate note, I optioned for Eibach coilovers with HD springs and Icon tubular UCA’s with delta joints. Coupled with Icon Rebound Pro 17x8.5 +25’s with 37x12.5 Yoko Geolander MT’s. Wheels around 28# per Dusty. Tires around 76# and measure 36.8 x 13.1 on a 10” rim (12.5 adjusted to 8.5” rim). Not sure all the dial ins required yet — install is scheduled for 1/13.

FWIW, was going to run Cooper STT Pros but they seem to be on back order. The Yokos were my #2 choice.
