Doesn’t turn the steering wheel. How did you do this? Body lift?
Hey, tire size vary from manufacturer. How did you do this? Body lift?
I was admiring your avatar and thinking there may have been other, larger regrets in play. =PI didn't get my bumpstops set right for 37s and it ruined my fenders, so I guess I regret that.
How long ago did that happen? Did you crease a fender?I didn't get my bumpstops set right for 37s and it ruined my fenders, so I guess I regret that.
It's been a cumulative effort from getting hammered over time. They're pushed up quite a bit, I can fit a finger in the door gap and the grille doesn't fit right anymore, plus the paint stress cracked in the upper corner by the grille. How long ago did that happen? Did you crease a fender?
Nice looking 2dr!Nope I love mine. Added a Pulsar XT piggyback tune for more power to turn heavy tires and also correct the speedometer. I lost about 1-1.5 mpg with 37s, but I can live with that.

Not sure I’d classify them as pizza cutters but Nitto makes a 37x11.5. Comes in at 71# and actual measurements of 36.5 x 11.4 on a 9” measured rim. You loose/gain about 0.20” for every 0.50” variance in actual rim width vs measured rim width. So adjusted for 8.5” rims these would measure out closer to 36.5 x 11.2.Try to limit the weight if you can. These were really engineered with a lightweight not-quite-35" tire in mind. I personally wish someone made a pizza cutter in a true 37 (like the Kenda Klever), but I don't think they exist (correct me if I'm wrong).
Weight is certainly worth paying attention to regardless of size. While this topic is around 37’s, the reality is the stock GY’s @ 52# in a 35” is hard to beat/match even if you upgrade to other 35’s. No doubt the 37’s are heavier but a lot of the variance is due to the GY’s being so crazy light weight. So here are the tires I've been researching - probably not buying for another season, but just for comparison. All in 37x12.5R17 unless otherwise stated
Delium Terra Raider KU-257 - no weight given
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT (LRD) - 80 lbs
Falken Wildpeak AT4S (LRE)- 78 lbs
Nitto Recon Grappler AT (37x11.5) (LRD) - 71 lbs
BFG TA KO2 (LRC) - 65 lbs
BFG TA KO2 (LRD) - 70 lbs
For comparison - stock SAS GY Territory: 52 lbs
So no matter what tire you really step up to, there's going to be a weight impact.
That’s 2 good friends right there. Especially the guy in the hat, looks like he was in a bad pinch point if things went sour.No regrets, only remorse.
