Tell us what's wrong with "we sell lights, we also sell a mount for those lights"?

DV8 seems to make pretty decent stuff but you are spot on with the logos. Really adds to the install time when I gotta cut all that stupid shit out.I just wish they weren't so proud of their logo. So many of their products would be right up my alley if it wasn't for that panel they have to stick on everything to laser-cut.
As satisfying as I'm sure it is for all y'all to slide in and be smarmy and unhelpful, it's VERY good information to know that the DV8 mount will ONLY fit the DV8 bar, because I'm finding roof bar mounts lacking, and DV8 lights are a leap I'm not willing to make with so many other known-solid light options available.
SO you're bashing them for it not being universal - when they clearly state what fits? I'm not seeing how this is a DV8 issue. I'm all about customer experience but this sounds like operator error, and to call it a scam is really inappropriate.Easy, you made something that is not universal. Biggest issues was I did want to spend $400+ dollars on a light bar with a 1 year warranty from an unknown source. For the exact same cost to manufacturer you could have made something that works with 1/2 the light bars on the market and had a fantastic product. I feel like the product is more of a scam then something to praise.
Did your mount come with the light bar L-brackets? All I got was the DV8 Mount, 2 bolts with nuts. and no instructions. Would have been a quick install with those brackets if they fit. Looks like you used the newer version Auxbeam Light Bar with the center spot lights?I have the mount, and an enormous high end laser light bar (got it from Australia, love this thing). Did you attempt to use the mounting gear that game with it? I just had to use their mounting equipment on my bar. It was tight but my bar is huge, it still fit though. Overall I’m very happy with the mount.
Sadly even the light bar manufactures don't list enough information. The problem I have ran into when looking at "Off-Road" aftermarket parts, these companies don't provide accurate information. Meaning a "cut sheet" or "data sheet" that would solve all this confusion for everyone.
Scam fits as multiple websites advertise " Our Bronco light bar mount was designed for a straight 50- or 52-inch LED Light Bar, however we also included mounting points for up to sixteen 3-inch pod lights as an alternative. " Now when you google the product you get enough information to make an educated decision, I have done my job.SO you're bashing them for it not being universal - when they clearly state what fits? Yeah - the DV8 site clearly links their Elite 52" light bar, you can't claim DV8 is a "scam" if non affiliated websites advertise less information - personally, looking at the design, I'm probably asking for measurements of the interior space before I just arbitrarily go out and buy 16 3" pod lights and/or a 52" light bar. For some reason you think it is incumbent upon DV8 to list out every single possible fitment because other websites not controlled by them didn't say it was made for the Elite light that DV8 makes.Did your mount come with the light bar L-brackets? My kit (light bar) came with numerous brackets to mount the light (assuming for different applications).Did your mount come with the light bar L-brackets? I would be interested in a link to the light bar, that would most likely be the most help to others in the future. My kit (light bar) came with numerous brackets to mount the light (assuming for different applications).
I know that it’s not an auxbeam lightbar but I’m sure most everything is similar. I can try to take some measurements later if that’s helpful?
I also have a lot of DV8 gear, sometimes it comes with the instructions. If it doesn’t they always seem to have the PDF online that does pretty good jobs for step by step install.
They're not. They're a legitimate product. Nothing changes that.I am calling there Light Bar Brackets a scam
sure, as is everyone.I am entitled to my opinion
