Just got a dump of 4ft of snow in southern Ontario. Came up behind a guy at the stop light ,braked ( glare ice under the snow )and started to slide into is rear end. Within 3ft of his vehicle Collision assist kicked in and managed to stop just in time. My first experience with collision assist was the first day i drove off the lot and with in 5 minutes some old fart ran a stop light . Saved me from a crash. Feature is great and it actually works. Now if i can get rid of the “ keep hands on the wheel “ and check the rear for occupants, I’ll be happy.
