Intercooler not only flows better but it keeps temps down. When pairing this with a tune it will see better power and keep making that power more consistently. Its one of the best mods anyone can do to any ecoboost vehicle for the long term of their engine when increasing power

Looks dirt simple to do, too. What's the difference in the two Wagner units you sell? I have a 2.7.

They are pretty easy to install.

One is a stock location replacement and the other is a high mount. it moves it up away so you can go off roading with out worrying of smashing it etc.

The Injen issues were on the 23 due to Ford changing a part in the system, but that has been resolved. I have been running the system and I have Zero error codes.

Changing your intercooler does nothing but help your system IAC temps stay cooler.

The setup your are on will help with the overall way the engine run. I been running these parts for a while, (look at my sig) and I have had ZERO issues. Read some on this, as it has been said, its on the forums, and then make a informed decision on what you want to do.

I second @Ninjak - I have the exact same mods and just an aftermarket piggyback tune to get the benefit from them - no codes, runs perfect for fast runs around town, power on the highway and responsiveness all around on trails.

I am just trying to decide if I want to go with the intake stuff or get fog lights and A-pillar lights...

Easy choice between lights and intake stuff. As soon as that aftermarket intake stuff goes on, you can kiss you power train warranty good bye. What are you actually gaining. Ford racing calibration and call it a day. More then enough power.

Want something fast, go buy a sports car.

Burger JB4. Does everything it is supposed to and it saves me highway MPG; even fully loaded on X-country drives. And it will let me pass anything on the road as heavy as I am with armor etc. on these BFG 35's..

What tune are you running?

The Ford Procal System.
I have the Injen CAI, Injen Charge Pipes, and Injen exhaust Pipes, going out of a Magnaflow Exhaust System. I also have a Turbosmart BOV. I have all clamped down with T-Clamps. Brings the wooooosh out

I am still waiting for Injen to release their IC, which according to them, will be well worth the wait.

CVFab isnt legal? In what regards and what parts?

I said Injen has a history of throwing codes…to me that means they are not “on top of changes/updates” and providing poor customer service selling non compliant parts…CVFab intercooler is not 50 state legal…again telling me they do not do proper testing to abide laws and protect customers…party on

Intercooler isnt federally illegal only against CARB which is California only. As I do like CARB approved products for those needing them its very expensive and would move the mark on the cost of their parts and thats not what they are about and for 1 state they dont see it being worth it.

They make very good products for the price and they do the proper testing before release to make sure of that!

I wouldn't do the intake or intercooler piping expecting big gains. The intake is mainly for sound and the pipes do dress up the engine bay.

The intercooler though I do recommend for performance gains, not so much for peak power, but for consistent power in hotter ambient temps.

For tuning, ZFG Racing would be my choice. The Ford tune is too tame for my taste.

I did aluminum skid plates , and heavy duty Next Venture Rock rails early on. Wanted a 80% desert runner, and 20% rock crawler.

Just for the giggle facter and your doing all air stuff anyway I giggle at the blow off valve noise.

I more recently did the intake, charge pipes and intercooler stuff. Early on the Fast Intentions axle back exhaust. Waiting on them to make a down pipe.
