AC clutch cycling switch leak

Got back from a 300 mile trip today and climbed underneath the Bronco just checking things, found this yellow-green fluid on multiple parts. The fluid is odorless, but the color looks like antifreeze.

Also, I found some grey color stuff along the front differential case, don’t know if it’s a leak. Only 1300 miles, really pissed me off.

Gray stuff just looks like RTV maybe for the seal. I don't know if the FDU has a gasket on the front face OEM (the rear definitely does), but not uncommon for diffs to just seal with a bead of RTV.

That fluid does look like antifreeze to me though. What's level in the expansion tank?

Yeah looks like coolant. Check your reservoir and that will tell you for sure.
The gray stuff in the front diff is just RTV, nothing to worry about.

Thank you! I thought the grey stuff is just sealant. The antifreeze level in the reservoir dropped a bit compared to the level when I picked her up, now it’s slightly below min. I thought it’s just air in the cooling system but apparently it’s the leak.

Probably the water pump. What’s up with Ford and their inability to make good water pump? Every 5.0 I’ve owned had the water pump replaced at 75k ish miles.

Bingo! I think it’s the temp sensor connector leaking, I don’t see any coolant above that point. The connector already has some yellow-green buildups.

That’s an A/C pressure switch. So if that’s where the leak is coming from it’s refrigerant, not coolant. The reason it’s greenish/yellow like coolant is because of the dye they put in it from the factory.

Ah yes! It’s the ac compressor, I check the part number on that part. I used the AC briefly two times this week, but haven’t used it for a while before this week. Now I wondering why it leaks…

Update. The dealership replaced the clutch cycle switch, the valve, and the o-ring, and recharge the system. So far so good, I will keep an eye on that leak. They also balanced my wheels to eliminate highway speed vibrations. I’m quite impressed by their service to be honest.
