Was poking around the engine bay & noticed a damp spot around the low pressure AC Compressor fitting. Anyone else noticing this on theirs?

2.3 engine. A/C blows ice cold still, not sure if it's just grease from the factory? Or maybe condensation picking up extra dust around that spot?

Just looks like dirt or grease to me. The system has dye in it from the factory already, so if it was leaking pag oil it would have a green-ish color to it. But probably not a bad idea to keep an eye on it. Maybe clean it off and see if it returns.

Appreciate it! That's what I'm thinking too.

You have a black light? Supposed to be dye in the oil from the factory that will show up under black light. I would suggest cleaning off and running for a few days to see if it comes back. If so, let your dealer know so they can check and repair if needed.

That's a great idea. I just cleaned it off today, so I'll hit it with a UV light some time this week.
