I barely feel the thump from my Bronco as well. It’s likely the temperature is getting colder, and I use 4A more.

I have the 2.3L version S-type, can’t expect more from a four cylinder.

It seems that I did a neutral drop, and the TCM did not shift into D until the rpm dropped to the safe level, which is the power gap I experienced. A good lesson though.

My OBX 2.3 auto recently developed a buzzing noise from the gear shifter under acceleration. If I hold the shifter tight, the noise goes away. Shifting between N-D-M a few times can sometimes quiet it. The noise is intermittent, typically in the morning. Has anyone seen this issue?

It has started on my Bronco, sometimes a thump noise, sometimes a jolt, all subtle but noticeable. It happens right before a full stop or when taking off. Driveshaft sounds like the solution if the dealership admits the issue.

My Bronco is starting to have this issue. In my case, it can happen right before stopping or when taking off. It's a very subtle drivetrain jolt, but I can feel it every time. It looks like a driveshaft is the way to go.

I personally like a deeper tone, so I will probably go with the S-type. Thanks for all the suggestions!

FP has two axle-back exhausts, M-5230-BR3SC and M-5230-BR3. Are they both Bolar S-Type just with difference clearance? The sound clip on FP website only says M-5230-BR3SC. Also looking at Borla Atak, don’t know if that is too much for a 2.3L.

Yes, they are expensive but worth every penny. I have Oracle Lighting amber fog lights as well. The foreground light had an amber hint before the swap but I no longer see any amber now. The Alpharex lights are much brighter.

Make sure the headlights are with the circuit boards, otherwise you will need to buy boards and program them yourself. I went to Alpharex to avoid the mess, and I’m enjoying them every minute now.

I had the dealership changed oil at 2500 miles. They used Motercraft full synthetic 5W-30.

It was 30 degree in my area today. I didn’t hear this noise from a cold start after work. Next week will be below 10 degree, will hear more.

Sounds to me like something is loose and scraping. I typically remote start mine but will listen to mine in a cold start.
