It wasn't stock but the BYOD rail on the dash, I put my phone up there once and realized carplay was good enough for navigation and picking music.

Not sure if you are into it, but if you put a GoPro or similar up there, it makes a nice point-of-view video.

Those are the most underused features I wish I did not have to pay for. I like to stay alert and make all decisions while driving by the seat of my pants. I enjoy driving cars, not to be driven by them. That's my driving style. Auto start-stop, for example, should be something one can turn off once and forever. Re: adaptive cruise control, in addition to being unreliable, radar interferes when one wants to mount a winch. Sensors used by the adaptive cruise control system may become impaired by mud, rain, frost, ice, snow, road spray, fog, direct bright light, etc. Not to be trusted driving my kids around.

If you have adaptive cruise control and didn't want it, I'm assuming you ordered the options package for other features you wanted, or maybe you just had to take what was available on the dealer's lot at the time.

If the sensors get blocked, a warning will appear and the adaptive cruise control will not engage (or will disengage). So far, I've only had one time when they were blocked, after playing off-road. At the time, if I had cared, I could have just wiped them off with my hand.

The auto start-stop won't ever be able to be permanently disabled as delivered from the factory, because Ford can't get the EPA fuel economy CAFE credit if it were.

The transition between 110+ and too damn cold is about two weeks here. Might take the T-tops off next week as it should finally be in the 80s.

My Dad's new Explorer came with ACC. He hates it so much he just about returned the car to the dealership. I had to show him how to turn it off so that it behaves like normal cruse control.

Yet another reason I am glad I got the base interior package.

Thank you for reminding me that THIS is my least used feature, not those I listed in an earlier post. My top is never, ever coming down. Not even the panels. There are few things that I am more sure about. 11 years of JK ownership have taught me that there are mostly downsides in removable tops that are not offset by the very few upsides. Particularly with that egg carton contraption that Ford calls a "hard" top.

I have avoided that whole situation and use OnXOffroad app on my phone through android auto which provides google earth type maps Just remember to down load off line maps where you are going if there is no cell service--which is just about everywhere off here.

I figured this could be a thread where we help each other with ideas. Post a Bronco feature you feel you aren't using enough and others can provide some ideas with how to use it better.

I'll start with: Molle panels. The idea of this sounded cool to me, but I haven't been able to think of how I should use them. What kinds of things are people attaching to the backs of the front seats? And if I got the Molle panel accessory for the tailgate, what should I put back there?

The disconnect bar on my BL. That button will only be pushed by accident. I bought the BL because of the look and interior trim levels. My extent of off roading is done n the sandy east coast shore ( surf fishing). The severe off reading is alien to me.

laughs in southwest desert weather. Too much dust storms, too hot, etc. Right now it's decent weather to take them off for a bit
