Those were the standard FW stripes ... the one Ford is using now is the later "sunset" graphics that were optional in '79.

If this is us getting a good look at the MY25 Broncos, doesn't seem like much has changed at all.
Still holding out hope for a hybrid option! Fingers crossed we find out in a few more days...

Already available since the 2nd half of 2024.
Is it a newly designed top for 2024 job2 or just cosmetic inside? Is the white part of that top a sound deadning material? It looks thicker and that black piece is recessed into the surrounding white material. I don’t recall the top in my January built 2024 having that recess in the center of the panel like that but…I have a hard time remembering my name half the time so who knows.

Not a fan of that white part. A few jeeps ago, I took the whole top off and rhino-lined the whole interior white part in dark gray/black. Made the whole interior look so much better.

The white parts on the jeep top interior (and in that pic above) look cheap and unfinished to me.

I adore the older version of this appearance package. This new one is a pretty heavy handed with their application. Subtle it is not.

I will say this, the MGV & cloth combo seats (if I read that correctly) is interesting from a materials perspective.

Are the older Free wheeling graphics reflective? I want to say I remember them being semi metallic and they would glow at night with the right light. I’m I smoking crackers here or is that memory legit?

They were and I think the original story link posted earlier said the new version are semi-reflective.

I will give you that this take is pretty heavy handed, same with the Heritage, which I have so I can say that. I think their intentions were good and since there's no way to completely make it look 100% they just improvised a modern or a based-on version and called it a day.

Cool, thanks. I’m glad I haven’t lost all my marbles just yet.

Agreed on the Heritage and adapting historical styling, it’s not easily done with a different canvas.

Anyone notice the top?!! Looks like new generation of hardtops!!
I'm glad you put the arrows. I wouldn't have known where to look for the top otherwise lol.

As others have pointed out, this is the new painted hardtop.

Saw a Bronco Sport with the Free Wheeling package driving down the road today. Felt like being in a Time Machine going back 45 years.

well, supposedly we are only a few days away from order banks opening for MY2025 and this seems to be the only announcement from ford. Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully there will be no delays 🤞

Not mad at those wheels, or the new interior side of the hard top. Also, they should’ve gone standard with the modular bumper.

Understood, but think the "std" version stripes would be a nice, more subtle package. Even the "full" Chromatic free wheelin stripes (you've shown), were much more subtle than the new 6G package (which kind of looks like what came on some of the pickups, with neither roof or hood stripes).

Agreed and as I posted earlier this is Ford doing a modern take or a based-on trim that by no means is historically accurate. The 6G is a nod to the EB not the FSB that the Free Wheeling package was available on, so why are they offering it? The biggest items are all inaccurate, stripes as you mentioned, turbine or western style wheels were never a factory option and the seat upholstery didn't have the graduated stripes but at least they mixed the cloth and MGV together.

Ford kinda screwed themselves with any "accurate" EB based trims for the 6G ... Explorer, Sport, Ranger, all those names have gone to other separate models. Even my Heritage Edition is a modern hodgepodge of what Ford thinks an EB was, i.e. cloth digital plaid seats??? C'mon ... they should have used white MGV with vertical stitching; it's the little things right?
