So, I'm too poor to pay 1000+ a month for a Bronco Raptor, but I really love the look they have. Ever since I got the Bronco, I've been looking at all different kinds of fender flares, entire fenders, etc Some looked good, others not so much... Over all, I still really do enjoy the Raptor body styling the most. So it leads me to creating this post about conversion kits. Yes, I have gone to Ford and gotten prices on the parts that I will need and they are stupidly expensive.. It will be the ultimate last options. But I did find 2 conversion kits that I have to share, and get some opinions and ideas from all of you.

This first one I came across it Vicrez. Vicrez has been in the business with body kits for awhile now. I've ordered some parts from them for a few of my friends in the past (the friends are not car people but have money lol). This one seems to be decent in price and parts, only missing the headlights (which i don't need) and taillights (which I do need). Now it does say it is on backorder and is to restock soon... Here is the link:

https://www.vicrez.com/vicrez-conve...G6IiOTF-uivdNOM-WDbkDiwpOccfGVYsaAmJaEALw_wcB

The second one that I found is the Forza Performance Group. I don't know too much about them in general, tbh.. but they do have a full conversion kit that does include headlights and taillights. Also with this conversion kit, you can contact them to pick and choose which parts you need and buy those only. Sadly, there is not straight price like the Vicrez kit, as you have to contact them to even get one.. Here is the link:

As for both of these kit, I know nothing about the terms of quality except for what is stated on there page by the companies who make them (which could be great or could be completely trash). As for what I do know is that both are highly rated on Google (if that even counts). Other than that, these are the only 2 conversion kits that I have found that do (supposedly) look like an OEM Raptor.

What are yalls thoughts? Have any ideas or knowledge on these? Did I miss any other conversion kits out there that you might know about?

I have seen those as well. Depending on how much you want to swap, these could be a good value. Gotta imagine they are going to be aftermarket quality parts. Raptor has composite fenders, not sure if these are fiberglass, aluminum, steel, etc.

There have been a few people with Raptors that have replaced their fenders with Fiberwex or APG, etc, that end up selling their OEM parts. That would be the best option, piece it together slowly with OEM takeoffs.

Do you think they will come down in the next couple of year?
Oh yeah. The economy keeps getting worse so it's bound to happen. There's some nice discounts on new Braptors if you look around, that's going to hurt the used market too.

The people that say, "Just get a raptor" don't understand how much more expensive a Raptor costs. If you got in before the price hikes, a base bronco Sasquatch would be $38k. That is 50% of the original cost of a Raptor. $6,000 worth of body parts would not make it the same cost of a used Raptor and no where near the cost of a new. The body panels and portals would put you at the cost of a Badlands in today's market.

This is my thought process on doing mods in general... It's why I'm mostly looking into the conversion kits. I got my bronco sas v6 at a steal, 25k out the door... Though I would love to have gotten the raptor, 70k with 40k miles is not something I'm willing to do lol

This is true but I will need a few parts that they won't be getting rid of too, but not a bad idea, and sorry for replying to this late, it didn't show up on my phone for some reason til now

Nope. Not 6k. That's just the parts. The real cost will be paint and labor.
At the end of the day that money is just gone. It will not add to the value of the Bronco. Yeah a Raptor will cost a lot more but you also get added resale.
You also get the added benefits of a real Raptor the added power, better suspension ect.
But the overriding true benefit is you don't have to deal with the monumental unbearable CRINGE of driving around in a fake ass Raptor.

Cool thing is i paint, wrap, and build cars. For my case, it's just getting the parts, I do all the rest. And yeah while I will get the added power and better suspension.. it will still cost me less to do those mods myself than get the raptor and do the mods then. As for driving around a fake raptor, it won't ever say Raptor on it. I don't upbadge, that's sacrilegious in the car world

Why do people hate on making a Bronco have the body kit that comes on the Raptor?

The fenders provide more clearance for tires. How is that different than paying even more money and getting the APG kit or Fiberwerx kit? Some people like the OEM+ look.

If someone modifies their Raptor suspension for a better setup, with more capability, should they remove their fenders since it is no longer a "Raptor"?

How many people have gone to car shows and drooled over Cobras or Shelby Daytona replicas, I know I have. How many people drooled over GT500 tribute builds, or any one of a million other muscle cars that get rebuilt and become "tribute" builds?

🤷‍♂️ idk, all I know is that if you upbadge, that's the bad shit.

While I'm not specifically interested in a "Raptor conversion" type kit, I do like big fenders, and the Raptor fenders are pretty pleasing. Wide stances should be matched with wide bodies!
